SET TIMES/INFO

Yes yes people - first off we'd just like to wish a massive congratulations to all of you finishing your uni exams this week.

In just over 24 hours we will be returning to the Angel for a night of heavy dnb/hardcore/emo fusion madness. We're so hyped to be sharing this lineup with you and can't wait to see all of you down there.

A few bits of info regarding the gig:

Doors open at 11 and the event ends at 4am.
Entry is £4 before midnight and £5 afterwards so come early.
We take both cash and card on the door.
There will be video recording taking place around the stage throughout the night.
The event is 18+, and ID will be required.

This one's going to be big, catch you in the dance.

Artist Spotlight x Promo Mix - Makrobe

With one week to go until our return to the Angel and preparations well underway, we'd like to take a minute to introduce the last act on our lineup, the one and only Makrobe.

Makrobe is a producer and DJ from south east Wales who has been DJing since he was knee high to a grasshopper and making drum'n'bass since 2010. Inspired by artists like Current Value, Limewax, Katharsys, Donny etc and he brings the dark grooves and aggressive yet clean audio based production of these artists to his own trademark dnb mixes and productions. As an indicator of his technical abilities and drive to inspire the next generation of producers, he runs both a music school and has recently started NyeMakesNoise, a music production YouTube channel specialising in the darker end of dance music.

To both introduce you guys to his style of mixing and production, as well as to get you in the mood for next week, he has put together a promo mix for us, which you can listen to from on our soundcloud and will be linked in our story.

Artist Spotlight - SML and Toscy

For our headliners for the 29th, we're bringing the London powerhouse of .dnb and down for their debut set in Wales.

As the driving forces behind London’s infamous Blender & Murmuration events collective, SML & Toscy first joined forces back in 2024 at Murmuration’s Label Launch. Their explosive b2b session there sparked a compelling collaboration and, motivated by their chemistry behind the decks, they formed a duo. The pair have one goal: providing a platform for showcasing Crossbreed and Neurofunk within the UK and reinvigorating the underground hard drum & bass scene.

On their journey to achieve this goal, they've played alongside legends of the scene like Sinister Souls, Merikan, Neonlight, Disphonia, and Ekwols, to name but a few. , brace yourselves - this one's going to be biblical.

Artist Spotlight - Dysfunction

Next up on our spotlight series, we have our resident .dnb , who will be doing something a little different at on the 29th and bringing down a mix of 160bpm industrial hardcore, hardstyle and acid techno.

Hot on the heels of a flurry of shows across the past few months, covering London, Leicester, Birmingham, and Aberystwyth, and their recent releases on 1MoreThing and Murmuration Records garnering support from legends of the scene such as Rob Swire, John B, and Evol Intent (to name a few) and plays on Vision Radio and the Amen4Tekno SWU show, Dysfunction has come a long way since their debut show at the Angel 8 years ago. Stepping outside of their usual comfort zone of dnb and crossbreed, they'll be delivering a chaotic romp through the absolute finest in 4x4 mayhem, and showcasing some of their new productions alongside some absolute gems from the world of hardcore and beyond.

Artist Spotlight - Mysterium

If you caught our last show then you'll know that this is a DJ who needs no introduction (but here's one for the people who didn't).

Next up on our roster we have the first of our IDz residents , who will be bringing his signature blend of pop punk and alt music mixed with neurofunk, jump up, dubstep, hardstyle and dancefloor DnB.

Mysterium has been a regular with the brand since early 2025 and has made a name for himself with his distinctive sound which combines classics from the world of alternative music with beats from across the full spectrum of drum and bass. Returning to , Mysterium brings with him a level of ability and style that has secured him a residency on Doppler radio and international bookings across Europe.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - ANOMALY

Kicking things off we have IDz founder and head honcho Asim aka .dnb making his debut at The Angel to bring you lot an hour of the finest vocal and melodic neurofunk to set the proceedings going.

Since founding IDz in 2023, Asim has been the key driving force in getting the brand off the ground and pushing its core mission of spreading the harder styles of dnb, hardcore and metal fusion. Through this, he's found his passion and talent for DJing and will be delivering something on the (comparatively) lighter end of his repetoir to set the night going strong.

Yes yes - in just under a month we're going to be making our return to to bring you lot a night of heavyweight dnb, crossbreed and hardcore madness.

Over the next few weeks we're going to be launching in to artist spotlights for the gig, so keep your eyes on our socials for that. But, in the mean time, here are some clips from the last time we landed in Aber to give you a feel for what's to come.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Aberystwyth, did you miss us?

On May the 29th we make our return to , this time we're bringing you one of the most exciting double acts of the London Neuro/Crossbreed scene, .dnb and , representing and for their Aberystwyth debut.

Joining them we have a selection of our residents, with and .dnb returning alongside Makrobe ( ) and IDz founder .dnb for a night of heavyweight madness.

What a night that was!

Aberystwyth, you absolutely blew us away with the energy you brought to our debut event on Saturday and all of us are still riding the high of how much of an incredible time we had playing for you.

We'd like a moment to thank and for hosting us and supporting getting the event rolling, for absolutely killing the headline set with his absolutely stunning blend of metal and dnb, our residents , , and .dnb for absolutely smashing their sets and delivering something brilliantly unique.

But, most importantly, we'd like to thank every single one of you lot who showed up and danced with us and made the night one of the best we've put on. Watch this space - we will be back.
