We transformed the beautiful ceremony space at with layers of greenery, soft white blooms, and natural textures. From the aisle lined with wild, meadow-inspired florals to the statement arch framing the vows, every detail was designed to feel abundant yet effortlessly organic.
Lauren and Scott had the perfect combination of a really clear idea of what they wanted but also putting the trust in me to run with the vision and create magic. It was such a joy to bring this to life for them

I’ve gone on a bit of an unintentional instagram hiatus as we’ve been busy behind the scenes delivering this season’s gorgeous weddings.
We were back flowering at the beautiful Middleton Lodge Estate yesterday. Here’s a few snapshots and behind the scenes of what we got up to.
For Anna & Alistair’s intimate wedding we invited their guests in to a romantic enchanted garden to celebrate their love. Candle hydrangeas, jasmine and garden roses tumbled down from urns, and the staircase was brought to life with winding foliage.

Romance in full bloom for J & D 🤍 from the moment I began speaking to this lovely pair, I adored being a part of their wedding planning process and getting to bring to life their vision.
This gorgeous celebration was adorned with white roses, dancing candlelight, soft seasonal blooms, and lush garden greenery. From the delicate stemmed roses gracing each table, to the cascading floral meadows along the top table and towering ceremony pillars, every detail told a story of timeless elegance.

I’ve got that excited and apprehensive feeling in my tummy as preparations are well underway to dive straight in to wedding season next week. After months of meetings, planning and designing, it’s time to come out of hibernation and embrace the new pace of life ahead of us; our season is about to come to fruition. Hello I’m Bethan, the founder and lead creative at Bureau Botany. (Although my hair is now a bit more ginger than in these photos !) I am the one you will speak to when you have your initial call, and I will design all your wedding florals. The creation on the day is a team effort along with my wonderful floral team!

On our initial call I love chatting with my couples, getting to know you, and beginning to paint a picture of how I can translate your love story in to show-stopping wedding florals. I am most at home getting my teeth stuck in to the design process, thinking up unique ways to respond to the brief, creating a beautiful document for you to look through to help you visualise it all, planning the logistics, designing the floral mechanics, handpicking the best team for the job, choosing the most beautiful blooms for your colour scheme. There is really so many varied dimensions to wedding floral design and I feel so lucky to call this my job.

En masse bridesmaid bouquets ❤️ instead of having a smaller version of the bridal bouquet, your maids could each have a bouquet of one type of flower - this is called an en masse bouquet. Each of the flowers are one of flower varieties from within the bridal bouquet - I love the symbolism of this, showing what that special person has contributed to your life- and it looks fabulous too. What do you think to en masse bridesmaid bouquets?

It might be sunny outside but I’m going to share some winter wedding inspiration at one of my favourite venues . We created this beautiful and fun staircase installation with lots of winter foliage and pops of deep jewel tones, with candles and disco balls peeking through. I adore these photos of the newlyweds and their gorgeous little boy! I have more to share of this wedding in due course and the whole gallery is now live on my website portfolio ❤️

I really wanted this installation to be one that was not quite as it seemed, and every time you looked you noticed something else. Look a little closer and as well as the blooms you will see garlics, limes, strings of grapes and even mini cucumbers. Fruit styling is a huge trend this year and I am really enjoying the opportunity to push myself creatively with the materials I’m using to create my designs
