And that’s a wrap — the final Weardale’s Christmas Light Show of 2025 is officially finished.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported the show, and donated over the Christmas period. Your generosity and encouragement have meant more than you know.

Whether you came once, came back multiple times, braved the rain, or popped along on Christmas Eve — thank you for being part of it.

We will be sharing the final total raised very soon.

Finally, I’d like to wish everyone — visitors, supporters, and all fellow Christmas light displays — a very Merry Christmas. 🎄✨

WOW! 🤩

Tonight’s light show saw an exceptional turnout, with approximately 200 people in attendance. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event — your presence helped create a truly festive atmosphere.

We are pleased to share that, thanks to your generosity, we have raised £312.88 so far for this year’s charities. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and will make a meaningful difference.

Please also remember that there will be a 15-minute light show next Saturday. If anyone was unable to attend this evening, this will be another opportunity to come along and enjoy the display.

If you are able, please share this with friends and family, especially those who couldn’t make it tonight, and feel free to tag the Weardale Christmas Lights page in any photos or videos.

What a night! The weather was absolutely horrendous, but I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who still came out to support the show.

Huge thanks to David Horrocks Hawkes and Darren at Wicked Treats ltd for the sweet stall and preventing the gazebo from flying🤣, stewys ices for showing up with the ice cream van, Santa for making an appearance, everyone in Hi Vis and of course every single person who stood in the rain to watch some Christmas lights! 😂🎄

With the rain coming down non-stop, I made the decision to use the 20-minute playlist I put together this morning and to start the lights a little earlier so everyone could still enjoy something before the weather got even worse.

I’m now looking at next weekend for the rescheduled full 45-minute show so everyone gets the proper experience — hopefully with much better weather!
I’ll confirm the exact time and day over the next couple of days.
