Good evening all,

As we move towards the end of the year and look on to 2024, I am wondering what to do about the railway. So, I thought, why not ask the greater "people" out there who may follow us.

Would YOU like to see The Billingham Light Railway continue (well, we say continue. We really mean actually start) and to see us out there in the great wide world providing entertainment etc. for various events and occasions? If so, what would you like to see and where would you like to see the railway?

Any answers are most welcome, as is constructive criticism of course.

Please note that for the time being and until further notice, we are not going to be operating for events etc.
Personal circumstances dictate this and we are unsure as to the future of the railway as a portable entity.

TITCH will still be running at various lines as and when possible however, for anyone who wishes to see the loco.

Unfortunately, due to injury and unexpected health problems it doesn't look like we will make it to North Wales to celebrate the Gly Valley Tramway 150th anniversary.

To say I am gutted is quite the understatement, but being a solo operator at the moment I don't have much choice. The injury is one that if not taken care of, could change a lot of decisions and events in the near and distant future.

I am so so sorry to disappoint anyone intending to take a ride behind TITCH this weekend. I am devastated.

This weekend we are back in North Wales, where all the Welsh people live. TITCH will be coming away with an accent at this rate!
We are there to help celebrate 150 years of the Glyn Valley Tramway with the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust
It's set to be a great weekend.

Did someone say Wedding train?
TITCH and the railway are all set up for the big day of a lovely couple tomorrow. Taking guests from the car park to the Marquee, with a little spur off to the Altar too! Yes that's right, TITCH is going to feature in this couples happy day, ceremony and all!!
