Fabulous evening box to enjoy, filled with Clava Brie , Lanark Blue and an Irish Smoked Gubbeen.

On the rare occasion I have extra cheese with no home I decided to double up the Clava Brie. No charge added to the customer would rather zero waste and an empty Fridge at the end of the weekend.

Whilst staying at the stunning Airbnb Dumra cottage in Broughton, Scottish Borders you can also add on a cheeseboard to your stay. Filled with local artisan cheese from Errington’s and Mellis.
The board can be pre ordered prior to your arrival or if you are staying in for the night and fancy a board to go with your bottle of wine you can always order it through the day.

There are also plenty of country walks, cycle routes and dog walks.

Sunday evening order

A Cheese & charcuterie box and the creamiest lemoncurd cheesecake designed for an extra indulgent evening.

The box was filled with Clava Brie, Dhorlin, Isle of Mull Cheddar, charcuterie, fruit, apricots, olives and cornichons. Paired with a Peter’s yard sourdough crackers.

Something I’ve been trying to avoid for ages.
I have had to review my prices. Due to rising costs of ingredients, supplies, and operations, I will be adjusting my catering prices effective [26/05/2026]. This change allows me to continue providing the quality, freshness, and service you expect from Cask and Wheel.

I try and use as many local supplies and products as possible, primarily Mellis & Errington’s Cheese and Great Glen Charcuterie. As these prices are increasing and if I want to maintain the standard and quality of cheese for my customers, I also have to increase.
These are indulgent boxes and worth the money being put into them.

My grazing and catering price are now in line with other local catering companies which I believe are still an affordable rate.

I remain committed to delivering exceptional food and memorable events, and I appreciate your understanding as I make this necessary adjustment.

Have only one Cheese and Charcuterie 2-3 box left for this weekend.

The box is filled with artisan Mellis Cheese, Dhorlin, Clava Brie and Isle of Mull Cheddar. Filled with the usual charcuterie, fruits, cornichons , olives and Peters Yard sourdough crackers.

Had a fantastic booking this week for a bespoke cheese and charcuterie box. The box was to be filled with Scottish cheeses so chose Clava Brie, Errington’s Blackmount, Isle of Mull Cheddar and Dhorlin.
The charcuterie was Great Glen Venison Salami with green peppercorns.
Scottish strawberry season is upon us so of course went with Scottish strawberries.
The box was also a variety of meats, olives, cornichons, fruit, and tomatoes.

The crackers were on the side along with the bread basket.

The box was created for a Dutch group coming over to Scotland for them to graze over once they had arrived.
The information on the cheeses was in the box and it was just something for them to chat over and enjoy some Scottish produce.

Had the absolute pleasure of providing the morning wedding breakfast this weekend.

The table was filled with freshly baked croissants, fruits mini pastries, salmon platter, meat and cheese platters, yoghurt and granola pots and fresh orange juice.

The relaxed grazing style allowed guest and bridal party to dip in and out between hair make up and photography.

The layout is designed for a quick easy cleanup maintaining the smooth flow of the day .

Flowers were an added touch in line with the colour scheme of the wedding.
