Who is The Undercover Hippy? If you don't know - Billy Rowan aka The Undercover Hippy has been performing at festivals since 2008, working his way up from being a solo singer-songwriter playing in small marquee stages, to now having a full band of incredible musicians and playing main-stages at some of the UK’s best independent festivals.

The band have been regulars at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Electric Picnic, Eden Festival in Scotland and Beautiful Days, plus many more around the UK and Europe. They also tour extensively in the UK twice a year, playing to packed venues from Edinburgh to Penzance. The music is best described as politically driven acoustic roots reggae folk-hop, with feel good vibes and a sly sense of humour.

The live show is high energy, interactive, and always leaves the crowd begging for more. Devoted fans travel the length of the UK for shows, audibly singing along with every chorus.

Opening the show will be a shimmering new project that is bursting into life - a big festival sound with chiming guitars, pounding percussion, soaring saxaphone, bringing grooves that make you move.

Wow! Mad Dog Mcrea back in Appledore! MDM can only be described as a pop-up festival—bursting with energy, colour, and an infectious mix of folk, rock and Celtic influences. Opening the show will be the exciting new local act Kozna, showcasing their eastern gypsy beats and balkan bangers!

Hailing from Plymouth & Donegal in Ireland the band has built a reputation for raucous live shows, blending original songs with traditional melodies and a dash of storytelling charm.

Their sound is a unique fusion of foot-stomping rhythms, intricate musicianship, and wry, often humorous lyrics that transport audiences on a wild musical journey.

With a dedicated following and a history of playing major festivals and packed-out venues, Mad Dog Mcrea continue to bring their lively, genre-defying spirit to stages across the UK and beyond.
