💚 WOW… WHAT A DAY! 💚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support the launch of Farmer & The Chef at The Old Foundry last Friday.

We were genuinely blown away by the response. From opening the doors until packing away, there was a wonderful steady flow of visitors throughout the day.

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, meet lots of new people and hear how much you enjoyed shopping in the comfort of an air-conditioned venue while relaxing with a quality coffee and freshly baked cakes, savouries and sweet treats.

Our chef-prepared frozen ready meals proved incredibly popular, and there was lots of interest in our new subscription boxes. Fresh seasonal vegetables and quality meat from Hedden's Farm, alongside our Farmer & The Chef range, made for a winning combination.

The question we heard most was…

"When's the next Market Day?"

🎉 We're delighted to confirm that Farmer & The Chef Market Days will take place on the last Friday of every month at The Old Foundry.

After months of planning, developing products, testing recipes, harvesting produce, packing boxes and preparing for launch, we're finally here.

Tomorrow we officially launch Farmer & The Chef at The Old Foundry.

What started as a simple idea — bringing together great local produce and chef-prepared food — has grown into something we're incredibly proud of, and we're excited to share it with our community.

🌱 What goes into Market Day?

As we prepare for the launch of Farmer & The Chef at The Old Foundry, it's easy to focus on the finished products.

The fresh vegetables.

The ready meals.

The quiches.

The meal kits.

The sauces and spice blends.

But behind every product is a lot of early mornings, planning, preparation and teamwork.

Working alongside Hedden's Farm, we're harvesting seasonal produce, Chef Duet Catering are testing recipes, preparing meals, packing orders and developing new products that bring together the very best of local farming and professional cookery.

What excites us most is that we're only just getting started.

Farmer & The Chef has been created to make great local food more accessible, whether that's through fresh produce, chef-prepared meals, meal kits, subscription boxes or seasonal food experiences.

This Friday we'll be opening our doors for the very first Farmer & The Chef Market Day and Launch Event at The Old Foundry.
