✨ A new name. Same me. ✨

After 10 years of building my “little” business, capturing nearly 700 weddings and meeting the most incredible people along the way, I’ve decided it’s time for a change.

Freeformimages Photography is becoming Laura Marie Photography

Honestly… it feels a little bit scary, very exciting but completely right.

For a long time, my business name has been separate from me. But after a decade of growing, learning, changing and figuring out exactly who I am and what I want my photography to be, I realised something quite simple…

I am who I am Laura Marie.

So, I’m putting my own name at the heart of everything.

Laura Marie Photography is still everything you’ve always known and loved. The colour, the laughter, the emotion, the happy tears, the big hugs and all those little moments in between.

But it’s also more me.

More personal. More intentional. More grown-up. And a little more luxurious too.

The same Laura behind the camera.
The same ridiculous excitement when I photograph your wedding.
The same calm, kind and completely invested approach.
Just with my own name above the door.

To everyone who has supported Freeformimages over the last 10 years booked me, recommended me, shared my work, trusted me with your wedding days and invited me back to photograph your families…

You’ve helped me build something I’m incredibly proud of.

And now, I’m incredibly excited to take the next chapter forward as Laura Marie Photography.

Earlier this year, I met Sue Denham, an independent celebrant from North Devon, who came to talk to me about wedding law reform and giving couples more choice over how and where they get married.

At the moment, independent celebrants (and non-religious belief organisations like Humanists) can conduct individualised wedding ceremonies, but they can’t legally marry couples.

The Government is now consulting on plans to change wedding law, and who is able to conduct legally binding weddings, giving couples much more choice over where and how they get married.
