It’s been a great week of viewings, and a real pleasure to show couples, friends and families around the venue again🤍

We’ve got a busy week ahead with the end of GCSE’s, a driving test, and my birthday (followed by my sons 4 days later) 🥳 but there’s still opportunity to visit us should you be looking to explore options for an upcoming ceremony!

Pop me a message if you’d like to chat. Whether it be for a wedding, funeral or any other ceremonies occasion, we’re here 🤍

I love a good wedding party but sometimes it’s good to strip things back. To focus a little less on the “event planning” and more on the reason everyone is there in the first place.

The ceremony.

The promises, the celebration of your commitment and the moment two people stand up and choose each other.

We’re looking forward to welcoming more ceremony only celebrations to The House Meadow.

What a relief to see these old beams and some open space again! 😍

Over the next few weeks I’ll be offering more dates for viewings for both this year and 2027. Whether that’s for a wedding, a celebration of life or another meaningful gathering, I’m here to chat 👋🏻

If you’d like to come and see the space for yourself or want to find out more then just pop me a message 💌

We’ve had a very slow start to 2026.

Low iron wiped me out for months (here’s my tiny violin 🎻) but I’m on the up and although we’re not quite match fit (both the venue and I), we’re nearly there, with viewings opening next week 🥳 but it’s been frustratingly slow. It’s consumed and tormented my mind most days, but there we are, sometimes life just doesn’t play ball.

But it’s not like the venue has sat empty, oh no! It’s had multiple uses…so to keep it real here they are.

1. A beautiful backdrop (and free bar) for the kids camping in half term!
2. A Christmas grotto. Yup. There’s still remnants of the festivities lurking.
3. Housing for my son’s 17th birthday surprise 🚗 🥳
4. A home gym. A totally unexpected use but one we couldn’t turn down or avoid whilst another home for the equipment is being constructed!
5. Sorting and storage for all the grotto decorations. Next year it’ll all be gone by the end of February, I’ve made a promise to myself.
6. Gardening/camping storage.

It’s 80% clear now. Currently my boyfriend is up in the beams removing the final fluffs of snow, staples and fairy lights 🫠 and by the end of today it’s gonna be 90% empty. Exciting.

What this “non physical” time has forced upon me is the time to work on a new trajectory for both the venue and I. Courses x 3 and a new website…coming soon in conjunction with

It’s been a long time coming.

Things are pivoting and it all feels very aligned, and I can’t wait to share it all with you soon.

But for now this is the truth bomb of how small business redirects and floors you some times. But in short, I think it’s all been for the greater good. Exciting times ahead 💫

Now back to work before he chucks snow at my head and tells me to get off my phone and do some work 😂🫣😘

It’s not looking like this right now, our Christmas grotto is still flooding the barn with colour and sparkle, but the desire to get back to this is strong!

There’s something about an empty space before it’s filled.

Before the chairs arrive.
Before the music, the words, the people.

Just wood, light, and the sense that something meaningful is about to happen.
