The heart of it all 💫🫶🏻

Our courtyard is more than just a pretty space - it’s the hub of . Everything flows through here: from guests arriving for ceremonies inside, to ceremonies in it, to group photos, to golden hour portraits, fire pit moments, cocktails and conversation under the stars. ✨

Whether you’re walking through on your way to say “I do”, grabbing a drink with friends, or sneaking away for a quiet moment just the two of you, the courtyard holds it all.

An afternoon of inspiration, bubbles, and bridal magic awaits!

Join us on SUNDAY 18 MAY here from 12.30pm - 4pm
Meet fellow brides and chat to our wedding co-ordinators Charlotte & Rose as you explore the venue. You’ll learn how to create the perfect wedding day timeline, get tips on choosing between a legal or celebrant-led ceremony, and find out which suppliers to book (and when!).

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea while asking all the wedding planning questions you like.

We’re so excited to invite you to our biggest open event yet here at - explore every corner of our venue, soak up inspo, and meet some amazing wedding suppliers. Plus your chance to win the Golden Ticket!

There’ll be a warm welcome, free-flowing fizz, and immersive styling across our gorgeous ceremony spaces – from the rustic-luxe Main Barn and The Byre to Ferne Wood and the Rose Garden.

Throughout the day, enjoy a curated series of drop-in (no booking necessary!) short, engaging talks from handpicked suppliers covering everything from photography tips to bridal hair, bridalwear and more.

Our very own Wedding Coordinators Charlotte and Rose will also be giving practical and inspiring talks on wedding planning and budgeting, sharing expert advice on how to bring your dream day to life with confidence and clarity. ❤️

Our Story

It’s 1995. Chris & Cathy buys a slightly dilapidated farmhouse, with a full size barn for tractor storage, a smaller barn perfect for general storage - once the sheep have moved out - a workshop, and the deciding factor: a forest rally course.

2000. The London Rally School goes from strength to strength. The demand for corporate events dictates the tractor barn being converted to an indoor meeting space. Underfloor heating is laid and full-size windows replace the barn doors. The tractor moves outside.

2013. Three couples have begged Chris & Cathy to get married in their barn. With their success behind them, Chris & Cathy’s son Jonathan starts thinking about launching Stratton Court Barn as a wedding venue. The tractor moves behind the barn.

January 2014. Karin Tindall starts working for Chris, Cathy and Jonathan. Slightly jaded from years of doing weddings in traditional “wedding factory” venues, the thought of being part of a venue from scratch fully restores the batteries. Extensive renovations of the smaller barn commences.
