The full tower wasn’t going to happen, so we had to get a little creative, a basic cake, add on their favourite doughnuts, some extra decor and an iconic moment before their first dance!

Rachel and Sion got married on their own little island at the Art Pavilion in London, and it was every bit as magical as it sounds. The setting was stunning and the entire day just radiated love.

Their ceremony, led by a close friend, was so personal and moving and from there the energy never dipped, confetti flying, huge smiles, and the kind of Jewish dancing that sweeps up every single person in the room.

An incredible Indian feast set the tone for dinner followed by homemade cakes brought by friends and family that made the dessert table feel like such a labour of love and when the night rolled on, pizza deliveries arrived to keep the dancing going.

It was fun, heartfelt and completely theirs and it was so lovely getting to know them both and watch their journey come together into this brilliant celebration ✨🫶🏼

The way Charlie looks at Hannah had us emotional all day 🥹

I never take for granted that my couples trust me to be part of their wedding journey, but Hannah and Charlie’s day will always hold a special place for me.

We first met when I was the coordinator at their venue, running their planning meeting more than a year before their big day. We instantly clicked and probably spent a little too long chatting about their exciting plans (and getting to know each other!)

When I left to pursue , I got the loveliest message asking if I would come on board as their on-the-day coordinator and of course, how could I say no?!

It’s been such a privilege getting to know you both and to walk alongside you these past eight months. Knowing that my being there helped you feel relaxed and able to fully soak up the day means everything to me, it’s exactly why I do what I do, and being able to do that for you, in this way, will stay with me.

The fact that you chose me not because I was tied to the venue, but because you wanted me, it honestly means the world 🤍✨

August ✨

✦ Twelve gorgeous weddings
✦ Attended a wedding where we got to celebrate two incredibly special friends tie the knot (and of course my kit made an appearance!)
✦ We hit eight years married 💍
✦ Snuck off to Greece for four days and remembered what it’s like to take a break!
✦ Kids’ birthday parties, play dates and days out thrown in
✦ Eight planning meetings squeezed in wherever they’d fit

Basically… this month has been flat-out. Weddings, family, kids on summer hols, life admin, repeat. Busy, brilliant and slightly chaotic - just how August seems to roll.

September’s shaping up to be just as full, and I’m excited to dive in (once the kids are back at school, obviously!) 😅

✈️ Somewhere between a wedding aisle and a Gatwick departure gate…

It’s wedding as a guest → quick email check → wedding → straight onto a plane for a few days away to celebrate our wedding anniversary → back for a four-day wedding marathon.

I’ll still be on hand for my couples, WhatsApp me if you need me but everyone else, expect summer ad hoc mode until I’m back in the office properly on Wednesday 27th.

Babe, have you actually thought about your wedding morning?

You’ve planned the flowers, the food, the first dance but the morning sets the tone for everything, and most people just wing it.

Have you got breakfast sorted? Something easy you can nibble on all morning so you’re not starving by your aisle walk?
Where are all the outfits going because one hook for your dress isn’t going to cut it?
Are you sitting on a comfy chair for hair and makeup, or are we talking wicker marks down your back?
Got your morning playlist ready? With an actual speaker? Dancing in your PJs is non-negotiable.
Who’s got the emergency kit? Who’s on water duty? Who’s keeping the room from looking like a teenage bedroom?
And if you’re doing a bridal reveal, where are your bridal party going while you get dressed?

Oh and the big one - when do you stop being the planner and start being the bride? Who’s running the day so you don’t have to?

You know that lull you’re so worried about?

That’s actually the moment when everything finally settles and you can just breathe.

You’ve done the big bit. You’ve said your vows, the nerves have passed, the speeches are done. And suddenly you’re standing there with a drink in your hand, looking at each other like… we actually did it.

That moment? It’s one of the most important parts of the day. It’s calm. It’s real. And it’s when it all starts to sink in.

Just like E&K 🤍 These moments were pure magic.

And as your planner, that’s exactly the kind of space I make sure you have. Not just the timings or the layout but proper breathing room. A chance to be present, to take it all in, to actually feel what’s happening.

You’re not answering questions. You’re not worrying about what’s next. You’re not checking if the food’s ready or if the chairs are in the right place. That’s my job. I’ve got it.

Because you’re not the host. You’re the guests of honour. And you deserve to enjoy every single second like it.
