Situated next to St.Mary's Church in Marsh Gibbon, in between Bicester, Buckingham and Aylesbury and within easy reach of the M40 motorway, this 16 century Grade 2 listed barn is the perfect setting with a backdrop of the historic Manor House, which also boasts beautiful gardens for your pre-reception drinks and photographs

As we look towards the start of our wedding season for 2026, thoughts turn to our wonderful weddings from last year and to our couples and how they are all getting on one year later!

From first looks to final dances, 2025 was filled with unforgettable moments, and its been so special reflecting on the stories that began with us and continue long after the last confetti fell.

Following the success of the Manor Farm Barn Midsummer Gig in the Garden 2025, we are delighted to confirm that all arrangements are now in place for Midsummer Gig in the Garden 2026 which this year is being held on Saturday 13 June! 🌳🌞🕺🎤

We have four amazing acts booked and the day starts with the amazing INDEEDIES…. These guys kicked off our event last year and set the bar from the very start!

The second band on the bill are Oxfordshire’s Premier Rock Party band….. THE DIRTY EARTH BAND. "Still Dirty at Thirty". Playing tunes from Elvis to Metallica to Robbie Williams and Aerosmith to ZZ Top, sixties to present day and with about 150 songs to their repertoire they sell out wherever they go!

ABBA’S ANGELS – UK’s premier Abba Tribute band, are our Headline Support performing all the best known Abba songs wearing painstakingly hand-made replica costumes with choreographed dance routines!

Finally (and with immense excitement) we finish off this amazing day with The Rocket Man himself ……. ELTON JOHN performed by ELITE ELTON – The Elton John Tribute Experience!

Elite Elton is performing Live with his Baby Grand Piano alongside some of the finest professional musicians in the U.K.
Let’s get ready for ‘Giant Feathers, Electric Boots – Elton Glasses and Elton Suits!!’ 👢🎹🕶️

The food on the day will be supplied by everyone’s favourite….. Uggys Pizza and amazing burgers by Friends and Flavours 🍔🍟🍕

Manor Farm Barn will provide a fully licensed bar stocking Draft Lager, Real Ale, Cider, Fizz, Wine, Pimms and a few selected spirits

From the very start, Emily and Neill dreamed of a wedding filled with music. Their day was orchestrated around the incredible energy of The Function Band whose arrival set the tone for celebration. As the barn transformed after the ceremony, and all their guests came in from the garden, the band’s music swept everyone into a wave of happiness. Emily and Neill danced atop podiums, their guests joined in, laughter and movement filling the air as they hoped. Once the guests had enjoyed the speeches and the band had managed a quick outfit change their gentle melodies created a warm, intimate atmosphere during dinner which was expertly prepared, cooked and served by Lemon Zest Cuisine Ltd. After another outfit change The Function Band then erupted into joyful celebration for the first dance and then the party really started as they entertained everyone until midnight. The wonderful AKR Catering kept everyone happy with the most delicious pizzas after the band’s first set.
All these key moments were caught expertly by Noah Werth Film & Photography who managed to be in exactly the right place at the right time. There was even time during the day to take some photos in our haybarn; not just of the wedding party but the band also joined in!
As their wedding coordinator, I was truly inspired by Emily & Neill's vision and attention to detail. Thank you to you both, for letting music and love guide your day. May your lives always be filled with the same joy and harmony you shared with everyone. 🥰🎼🎷❤️💕

From the very first moment we met Rachel & Lewis, their infectious energy filled the room. We just knew their wedding would be the same. I looked forward to every visit from the day they booked to the day they got married 18 months later.

When their wedding weekend finally arrived they truly made the most of everything Marsh Gibbon has to offer. Booking all three Air B & B’s, visiting the village pub The Plough Inn, Marsh Gibbon the night before and choosing our beautiful church next door for their ceremony.

After the ceremony the real fun began. Rachel & Lewis swept into the barn, laughter and excitement trailing behind them. Their wonderful photographer Taylor Wood Wedding Photography, deserves a medal for keeping up with their boundless spirit! The photos we have just received say it all – each one bursting with joy, love and the kind of moments you could bottle up forever.

What a year! As we celebrate our final wedding of 2025, we’re grateful for every sunny day, every heartfelt “I do” and every moment of laughter shared at Manor Farm Barn.

Thank you to our wonderful couples and their families and friends who made each celebration unforgettable.

A huge thank you to all the photographers, musicians, DJ's, cake makers, florists and caterers - it would not be possible without you and we can’t wait to create even more magical memories with you in 2026!

Remember, remember the 5th November! Bonfire Night brings back all the warmth, magic and sparkle that we love at weddings too. There's something truly special about capturing those unforgettable moments with sparklers in hand - whether its your grand exit, a romantic first dance under a swirl of light or just friends and family creating a little extra shine to your celebrations. If you're tying the knot this season, don't forget to include sparklers for that picture-perfect finale - after all, memories made by firelight and sparklers are the ones that glow the longest 🥰
