As the new accommodation comes together, Emma’s attention is turning to the finer details… she’s been on the hunt for some antique books to bring into the new spaces, adding those little layers of character and warmth that make a room feel special.

Little corners of Tythe…

Tucked into The Cowshed, our wood-fired pizza oven brings this corner of the estate to life. The glow of the fire, the crackle of the wood and the unmistakable smell of pizza cooking over flames…

Harvest 2026 is underway. 🌾

One of the busiest times of the year on the farm and making us think of days gone by. Take a stroll through a little bit of farming history…

1. The old Fordson tractor located at the front of The Farmhouse - used for generations and a special piece of history on the farm. Soon to be refurbished and ready for its next chapter on the Tythe estate… watch this space.

2. Harvest time on the farm. Whilst we’re dealing with these hot temperatures, Peter, Will’s brother is getting up around 4am to harvest. It’s cooler and the best time to reduce the risk of any fires.

3. Will’s dad, Michael ploughing the fields back in his day.

4. A lovely photo of Michael with his old Fordson tractor as it was moved to the front of The Farmhouse for us all to enjoy.

5. Farm life never stands still here at Tythe.

Court Room views…

With huge double-aspect windows offering views of the gardens on one side and The Shepherds Hut on the other, The Court Room is located at the end of The Farmhouse. Boasting character and style this enormous room has its own open fireplace, pool table, leather sofa and armchair, bespoke designed bed that can fold back into the wood-clad walls and a stylish adjoining en-suite.

Our inspiration for this room - Gentleman’s Club through and through. Think vintage leather, soft lighting, deep charcoal walls and red velvet.
