🌸 A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes 🌸
This piece is a reflection of the dreams I’ve wished for over the years, inspired by the simple magic of blowing dandelions. 🌼
I wished for beautiful, healthy, happy daughters, and that dream came true. The portrait is my youngest daughter, making a wish of her own.
On the back is a dream I’m still working towards: a home in the woods, beside the water, surrounded by miniature animals, with a VW camper ready for adventures. 🌲
And somewhere along the way, I dreamed of becoming Elite Body Painter of the Year. This year, I came second, missing first place by just one point. 🥈 And honestly, I’m incredibly proud of that.
Ten years ago, I began my body painting journey at the Living Art Show. I could never have imagined then where this path would take me. I couldn’t have imagined the artist, or the person, I would become.
Ten years of creating, learning, growing, falling, rebuilding and finding my way back stronger each time. My world has been turned upside down more than once, but through it all, art has remained a constant.
I’m incredibly grateful for every person, every experience and every opportunity that has shaped this journey. I’m also incredibly lucky to share it with my husband, the best face and body painter in the world, who has been beside me through the past 7 years. ❤️
Thank you to the Living Art Show for being where this journey began, and for giving me a place to dream, create and grow for the last ten years.
What started as a dream has become a life I could never have imagined. ✨
