We were delighted to be asked to provide decor and styling for a formal dinner, the third consecutive year for this client.

This year the colour scheme was burgundy (chosen by them) and we decided to go with black table cloths, our black chair covers and two-layer sashes (lace over satin). With some custom-made floral embellishments, the chairs provided a stunning contrast to the table decor.

As table centres, we placed our gold mercury lanterns atop antique gold platters. We adored those with fircones (going for Autumn rather than Christmas), seed lights and filled the lanterns with our gold leaf lights. This created the most beautiful glow mid-table. We then paired these with gold mercury tealight globes and used soft lights to expand the gentle lighting across the table.

We also provided design and print service for the Menu/Order of Service booklets and individual name placecards.

Feedback from our clients and the venue was extremely positive, with many commenting on how stunning the colour scheme was.

They trusted us to come up with a scheme which provided the perfect environment for their event.

We love it when a plan comes together!

Our champagne towers have been getting a lot of interest this summer. Outings so far for a 60th wedding anniversary party, two gorgeous weddings and a glamorous 18th birthday party!

They create a bit of theatre - a fun, crowd-pleasing spectacle to create some special memories of bubbles and sparkle.

You supply the bottles and we supply the rest - glasses, clear base tray, ice bowl.

All you do is pour your favourite tipple from the top and share a glass with your guests.

Reflecting on our Bank Holiday weekend - three weddings, five venues and countless smiles!

It was an amazing, exhausting but ultimately hugely rewarding few days. We are honoured to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the love story of three gorgeous couples and really pleased with what we achieved. It was based on great communicaton, imagination and teamwork all the way. And when the wedding gremlin tried to play tricks (as it often does - ask any wedding planner) we came up with resourceful solutions and eased our clients through without fuss or worry.

Weddings are pure theatre (the best kind) but we like to keep the drama to a minimum!

We were really blessed to have been present for two of the marriage ceremonies, both really emotional, beautiful and genuinely full of love.

Our five venues were:
Wadham College, Oxford
The Randolph Hotel, Oxford
Oxford Town Hall
Malmaison, Oxford
Milton Hill House, Oxfordshire

All really beautiful and completely different to each other. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to get creative, whilst ensuring we met the brief. We take the time to understand what our clients really want and what they are trying to achieve. This means we can give them the best advice and support and help them to pivot positively if something happens at the last minute. And we work closely with the venue staff to manage the event seamlessly.

It was a first outing for some of our newest pieces of kit and we'll post about those separately. Suffice to say, they made a huge impression!

For now, we just wanted to share our excitement and gratitude and give you some sneak peaks of three very different weddings.

Not every venue is a 5 star hotel or a country club. Some are much more humble but are part of the rich tapestry of a client's story.

Last week we were honoured to provide styling and event management at TWO different venues for the same clients, all part of their extended 60th wedding anniversary celebrations.

For wedding planners, witnessing the celebration of 60 years of marriage is an especially poignant experience and one from which we can take many lessons to share with our future clients.

"You guys are the best!"
There are no greater words to hear when you've worked so hard to bring a bride's wedding dreams come true.

Our first big wedding of this year's season and a new venue for us too. Some fantastic teamwork between us and the on-site staff and we delivered an amazing celebration which was in full swing when we discreetly slipped away mid-evening.

We provided chair sashes, table runners, a decorated wooden backdrop for photos, lanterns, garden lighting, a crisp wall, signage, memory ladder, floral arrangements and additional decorative items. We set up all of this before the bridal party arrived, coordinated with other suppliers, remained on hand for the bride, groom and their guests and worked behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. And then returned to the venue yesterday to derig, dismantle and repack all of the beautiful items and lights on an unusually sunny April Sunday.

We love what we do!

Looking forward to some more fabulous events in the next few weeks and we're taking bookings for the rest of this year and beyond.

We ended the year with a winter wonderland wedding. It was an honour to assist with the coordination of other suppliers and also to provide the styling and on the day management for a really special wedding.

Working in conjunction with Gift of a Wedding, we brought our lovely couple's dreams to life. A Winter Wonderland was the brief and their reaction when they saw it spoke volumes.

It was a true honour to be part of their story and we wish them both all the very best that 2025 can bring them.
