What happens next:
The first step if possible is to meet before you book, this allows me to sit down with you over a coffee and talk through your wedding plans. This for me is a really important part of the process, to find a little more about each of my clients, their likes and dislikes and expectations for the day, every client and what is important to them is different, so feel free at this point to ask me any questions you may have, or advice you might want to know too.
What are your prices and what does this include:
To allow me to capture the day as it unfolds and document in the storytelling way I do, my package prices start from £985 and this is for the whole day. I typically work from early morning covering all the getting ready parts, (depending on locations and timing, it is often possible to photograph / Film both you and your partner getting ready if not too far apart. Or, If locations or timings might prevent this and this part is important for you to be covered, then this is often when a second shooter can be considered, I have people I work with who compliment my style). Then I work right through to the last main event, generally first dance, every wedding is different, but there is also the option for me to stay till the end too. I want to document the story, so I understand the schedule on the day can sometimes adjust.
Do you offer the option to stay late?
If you think you would like me to stay late into the evening past the last main event, to capture all the dancing antics, I do offer this for an additional £250 for around 3 hours photography, this is often quite popular for clients who have guests arriving in the evening that were not present throughout the day.
Have you been to my venue?
I like to consider myself as an organised person, so If I haven't been to the venue before, I like to visit and do a consultation with you there before the big day. This gives me a good opportunity to meet with the venue organisers and we look around the property in preparation so we can choose our favourite spots for when we go off to capture some beautiful images.
What you get and when:
After the special day it generally takes 4-6 weeks to get the images back to you, we edit everything ourselves so at certain times of the year we are very busy with other weddings and other photography / Film projects (we also do business and commercial work) so it can take a little longer to process them within this timescale, but I will let you know if this is the case. Once edited I send a selection of my favourite images to you via email link and there is a the option of having these sent on a USB In terms of quantity of images, I don’t have a set amount, depending on the wedding it can vary roughly around 300, but this amount depends on the size of the wedding too. I don’t conceal any images, I just remove the bloopers and duplicates. I also don’t have any hidden extra charges for images, you can print anywhere you like. As for wedding videography, we produce you a highlight reel typically along to your favourite song you can see examples of our style on our web page www.bexhillfilmcompany.com
What to do if I want to book:
Lastly, if you decide you want to book me, all that is required is for me to send through some terms and conditions, If you agree to these then all you need to do to secure the date with me as your wedding photographer, is to pay a non refundable deposit. Then all the formalities are completed and everything is booked. The remainder of the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding.
