When the sky lights up and gives you THIS 😯 😍

This one involved a casual "oh I don't think we're going to get much of a sky tonight now" comment, followed swiftly by a mad run to find my van keys, bundling Nicky into said van (Ryan drew the short straw and had to walk, sorry Ryan!) and dashing up to the top of the driveway before we lost this epic light!

In 16 years of photographing weddings I think it's safe to say that this is the best sky I've ever had on a wedding day.

A shout out to the lovely Reiss and Laura, who got married earlier this month at Kings Norton Golf Club surrounded by their lovely friends and families, their gorgeous little boy George and their adorably whirlwind of a pooch Alfie 🥰

Being a director at the venue, Reiss was super keen to get some photos on the golf course itself (after the golfers had vacated of course!) and this is one of my favourites...scroll to see a handful of other highlights from their day.

Today is all about the gorgeousness that was Lucy and Calum's wedding car! 🥰 😆

Just kidding, I am here to celebrate their WHOLE wedding day, although this post does mainly feature their lovely Morgan, given that it IS so beautiful 😍

Malvern, where the car originates from, is also a very special place for Lucy and Calum. They chose to get married at the Registry Office, as Lucy's own parents did. So choosing a car from the town was extra special.

Their wonderful reception venue Stanbrook Abbey Hotel was only a short drive away too and made for the perfect setting for some photos - we captured an epic sunset too, scroll for some non-car photos 😅

If you're expecting, know someone who is, or have just welcomed a new arrival, I offer newborn sessions at my studio in Bewdley or in the comfort of your own home.

This isn't something I make a big announcement about, as I love the element of surprise for my couples when they see them.

But this message from Charlotte the other day reminded me why it's important to take some time to do something special for my couples on their big day, and this always goes down so well 📷 💕

Today's post is all about the fabulous Jen and Mark 💕💍

It's been a while since I was at the beautiful Wootton Park but as always it felt like being right back home, and spending the day with such a fab couple and their guests was the icing on the (wedding) cake!

Thankfully the weather held for their outdoor ceremony, and the sun shone at the perfect moments for their couple photos around the venue. Shout out to Ian Roy for driving us up to the top of the estate in time for the sunset!

A much needed shout out for Becky's stunning TDR Bridal - Birmingham dress! Mark scrubbed up pretty well too 😆

A very fun-filled and much-needed celebration for them after a full-on year, it was so lovely to spend a few hours capturing the memories of their wedding day at Weston Hall.

The gorgeous Stanbrook Abbey Hotel never disappoints as the perfect wedding venue, whether you're having 150 guests or, like Charlotte and Jack this week, a more intimate total of 14!

It was lovely to spend a few hours with such a lovely couple and their closest family and friends to capture their wedding, from the finishing touches getting ready, a gorgeous ceremony in Callow Great Hall, through to the beginning of their wedding meal in the East Room.

With Sonali and Paul's day at Warwick Castle followed by this one, what a fab way to kick off the busiest September I've ever had! 🥰
