Hello, my name is Olwen and I am an independent celebrant.

These posts may look very different to my usual posts as I had help!!

Like so many, I hate promoting myself and have no idea about algorithms- but I am a good celebrant.

So... playing to my strengths, I will focus on what I am good at, and allow my daughter to help with posts as she is good at that!

Interesting article, and an opportunity to ask everyone to support your local Funeral Directors. Reading the comments to this original post I wonder if people are really aware of what happens...
All of the Funeral Directors I have worked with offer a personalised, dignified, and professional service to both the deceased and their families. Services to say farewell are important- it's an opportunity to say goodbye, mark your loved one's passing, and start to grieve whilst being supported by friends and family, whether this is done in a religious building, crematorium, private function room or village hall.
If you are unsure what to do, please talk to your local Funeral Director who can guide you through your options. I am always available to chat too...
