well!! I’m feeling extremely emotional today as some of you will know we have come to the end of an era. Emma my beautiful daughter whom i’ve watched grow from a little girl into a very talented florist has taken her lovely family on a huge adventure. They are living a van life, home schooling and planning to explore europe for the unforeseable future. Emma you are very brave and i’m so very proud of you. I’ll miss laughing until we cry and creating beautiful flowers together. I love and miss you xx
This decision has prompted me to close the shop at the end of June when my lease has ended but all you future brides out there don’t worry I shall be working from home to make your day as special as you are. Soft and romantic, spring blooms. Typically Spring florals are vibrant, fresh and full of life, reflecting the seasons renewal.
In season are tulips, ranunculus, daffodils, hyacinth, fittonia, wild raspberry, lilacs, hellebores, roses. Often used in pastel hues such as lilac, peach, pale yellow, blush pink. Consider a pop of coral or the deep purple of a hellebore. Spring to us is the return of flowers to our natural environment. It only takes a few days of sunshine for life to burst from the hard ground and reward us for our long patient wait! Pure joy!

Emma our junior florist has been bench trained by Susan and has worked part time for Flowerstyle for 7 years. Designer wedding flowers are Susan’s speciality covering most of East Yorkshire and Hull.
