🎂 Happy Eight Years🎂

Business can be hard.

Many businesses never make it to the five-year mark, which is why today feels particularly special as we celebrate our 8th birthday 🎈

For the last eight years, we’ve had the privilege of delivering incredible weddings, celebrations and events, helping create some of the most precious moments in people’s lives. From wedding ceremonies and first dances to milestone birthdays, family celebrations and corporate events, every booking has played a part in our journey.

I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to do what I love and none of it would be possible without our amazing team, whose hard work, dedication and passion make every event special. Thank you for everything you do 🤗

And of course, thank you to our wonderful clients. Thank you for trusting us with your celebrations, for choosing us, supporting us, recommending us, and allowing us to be part of such important moments in your lives.

What started as a dream nine years ago has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. We are proud of what we have built, excited about what lies ahead, and grateful to every single person who has been part of the journey.

Here’s to eight years of memories, laughter, challenges, growth, friendship and celebrations 🥂

Firstly, welcome!

Many of you will know that I love the barn, all our couples past, present and future and I want to support those of you in the early stages of wedding planning by going one step further…

It’s been a long time in the making but Aisle Be Ready is here 💍

The concept of Aisle Be Ready came from receiving the same messages and emails time and time again.

Couples getting engaged full of excitement, only to find themselves overwhelmed by endless scrolling, googling, conflicting opinions by family and friends, growing to-do lists not knowing what to prioritise, what needs booking now, and what can comfortably wait until later in the planning journey which ultimately leaves couples (mainly brides) feeling unsure where to even start.

Wedding planning should be exciting - that’s what you deserve!

And so, I have created a relaxed and welcoming, guided, planning workshop here at The Beverley Barn, to help engaged couples actively wanting to plan their wedding gain clarity, confidence and a clear direction for their wedding day.

Together in the 90 minute session we’ll cover:

Santia received some fantastic feedback from the team across both the Barn and Catering. Comments highlighted how well she has settled into the team, her willingness to get stuck in, her positive attitude, and the fact that she is a true team player. This weekend EMHQ will be full of wedding conversations, cake sketches, Pinterest boards, coffee… and probably a little bit of chaos too 😅

We’re getting ready to welcome 16 couples into EMHQ over the weekend for wedding consultations and I have to say this is one part of the wedding cake process that I’ll never get bored of 🥹💜

I absolutely love sitting down with couples, hearing all about their plans, how they met, the ideas they have for their big day and then starting to design a cake that feels personal to them rather than “just” a wedding cake.

Every couple is completely different and that’s what makes it so special. Some arrive with Pinterest boards and colour palettes, others arrive saying “we haven’t got a clue where to start” 😂 and I love both equally.

EMHQ was built to create a relaxed and personal space for exactly these moments and we can’t wait to welcome this weekend’s couples through the door 💜

And don’t worry if you couldn’t get an appointment this weekend, our next Wedding Open Weekend will be the 1st & 2nd August and appointments are already starting to book up ✨
