How blinkin’ exciting! I’ve made it to the finals!

Thank you to everyone for getting my little business to this point. It’s just SO lovely to receive some recognition for allllll the hard work that’s gone into Apple Blossom so far.

I’ve been lucky enough to decorate this staircase with flowers, fairy lights and candles so many times and can honestly say it never gets old!

Each design is unique to every couple and this one was exactly that. From the colour scheme, to the flower varieties and the little accents on the upper level bringing it all together. A little bit of floral magic. ✨

Remember when it was warm enough to wear just a t-shirt and the weather was good enough to get married outside? No, me neither but these gorgeous photos from of A & K’s day in July might help bring back some memories of less chilly times!

// BREAKING TRADITION //

Wahhh!! When you receive a gallery and your heart skips a beat.

Bride Becca broke a few traditions at her day, not least by wearing a fabulous gold gown and letting her bridesmaids choose their own dresses so long as they fit in with the colour scheme.

We had to work particularly hard when choosing the florals on this one, making sure they complimented all the girls’ dresses without competing or getting lost against the different backdrops. Coral charm peonies, stocks, yellow billy buttons, red velvety roses and biscuit amaranthus all complimented the rust, forest green, olive, crimson and mustard dresses.

Looking back at these I just love how it all turned out! Yay for being bold enough to break some traditions!

This was S + G’s day back in May at the beautiful . The rain held off for just long enough for to capture these beauties.

If you asked a wedding florist what’s high on their list of favourites I’m pretty sure they’d answer bouquets with movement, lots of different types of blooms, colours and textures. These beauties ticked all those boxes!

Full of joy, beautiful flower varieties and colour they complemented Eve’s choice of different toned bridesmaids dresses so well.

I’m totally in love with Fiona and her bridesmaids’ bold textured bouquets of classic roses, interspersed with fluffy pampas grass and structured anthuriums.

My recent plea for professional photos went well and I was rewarded with some beauties!

Katie and Tom’s wedding was a real creative highlight for me with its stunning autumnal colour palette, textured notes and the opportunity to go a little bit wild with these displays. I created a wall mounted backdrop for the top table as well as some floor standing meadows which not only created a bit of a wow factor for guests but made for beautiful photos too. ✨
