I am not a small woman.
Not in size, nor stature, nor ambition.

I’m not dainty or polished.
Not in the way I look, or the way my laugh enters a room before I do.

I don’t watch my words, or bite my tongue.
My voice often erupts without control, both with fervent praise and furious disdain.

I’m not smooth or ‘tight’.
I have neither the aesthetics nor fragility of porcelain.

I don’t ‘bounce back’ and I never will.
I undulate like the rolling hills and moors.
An unappreciated and often self-forgotten area of outstanding natural beauty for far. too. long.

I refuse to shrink an inch, not my passion, not my volume, not in the way I love or celebrate others.

No.

I am not a gentle stream.
I’m a full blown typhoon of paradoxes who is tired of apologising for the force she brings.

Because I am not a small woman.

To all entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, remember nothing you do is ever 'Small', never underestimate the impact you have on your clients, community and industry peers!

Here's to renaming the day to "Successful Business Saturday"




Ps what's small about a turnover of say £5m per year and providing a job for say 20 people (?)

Sunday spent supporting deliver a retreat day for 10 beautiful humans.

Using this space commercially allows them to raise funds to deliver their community days in and around North Wales.

They are currently inviting small businesses to sponsor their activities.
