Just over a year ago I was asked by the wonderful owner of The Warehouse Bar to takeover all the bookings and social media after the previous employee walked out without notice.
With a toddler I wasn’t sure i had the time or confidence to do this, but I stepped in and tried my best. little did we know a few weeks later my 37 year old husband would be diagnosed with stage 4 cancer,
For the 3rd time in 6 years.
I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart I’ve really tried my best to hold it all together at home and work.
Trying to make sure everyone’s party’s, special occasions went ahead without hiccups.
Doing balloons, taking bookings and trying to plan everyone’s evening perfectly. all this whilst we had daily hospital visits for chemotherapy and trying to shield this from my 4 year old. And then of course stem cell at Christmas.
We are all not perfect I certainly do not claim to be, But i do give it my all every time regardless of what I have going on.
I believe I have a big heart and a passion for people and my job,
Today I stumbled across a bad review that was left on our google account that unfortunately we do not have access too, We are trying, so I cannot respond. whilst I understand not everyone will be happy and mistakes will be made, we are all human. But I would have liked the opportunity to address this with one to apologise that this was felt and also a few things that I believe are incorrect, I’m all for constructive criticism but calling me greedy grandma? 🙈 I’m only 40 and you never see me 😜
We are really sorry but we do not save dates, We do tell all customers without a deposit your date is not secure, this is also written in our terms and conditions along with you only get 1 hour before your party starts. We are not there on a Saturday day.
And unfortunately if things are not paid for they won’t be provided.
I do believe I really have tried my best regardless of my world falling apart at home, I give it 100 percent and I will still continue to do so to make all your party’s the best night possible.
Thank you so much for all your continued support
