I it’s not been an easy year to grow anything for anyone. Here in the southeast the utter failure of the water companies has exacerbated the problem. As a business I am aloud to water but the shortages (either no water or such bad pressure) have made it impossible. This amazing village that I’m lucky to be a part of staged its own little protest this evening. Thousands of plastic bottles sending a message. shortage

I have always grown an early crop of Anemone in the Poly tunnels. This year I had plenty of spare corms so experimented with a late spring outdoor sowing. I have been harvesting for well over a month now. The stems are getting longer and stronger all the time and show no sign of giving up. 🚀
