Well, this is pretty special.
No. 1 in The Times’ eight reasons to visit the Isle of Wight.
And to be described as “the cool new beach club” — we’re pretty proud 🌊
What means even more is seeing The Point referred to as exactly what we hoped it would become — part beach club, part community social hub. A place to eat, drink, play, dip, sauna, relax, meet friends and spend time by the sea.
Creating something new in a village we love comes with a responsibility to do it well. We want The Point to be a positive addition to Bembridge — supporting and employing local people, working with brilliant independent Island businesses, creating opportunities for musicians and makers, and bringing a little extra energy and buzz to this corner of the Island.
And none of it happens without our brilliant Point team and crew. Alongside our essential partners, suppliers, musicians and everyone who visits and supports us, they’re the people who make The Point what it is.
To see something so new recognised alongside other established Island businesses in the national press online and in print is very special.
We are very proud of what we’re building. Grateful to everyone helping us do it. And excited for what’s still to come. 🤍
Thank you The Times and Sunday Times and Journalist & Author | London | UK for getting to The Point.
