WOW! what an absolutely Amazing weekend! By far my busiest and longest weekend of the year! After finishing breaking down the rest of my equipment yesterday (Monday) and resting for the rest of the day, I am now fully recovered (I think! 🤣) from what has been an EPIC weekend!
A HUGE thank you for Max Workman, the events manager at the Folly Inn for putting your trust in me to host, DJ and supply all the sound and lighting equipment for what was definitely the biggest and best Folly Fest ever! Thank you also to ALL the Management and staff at the Folly as they have worked long hours and so hard over the past few days. A massive thank you to Mick from M&T Marquees for the marquee, stage and stage lighting (when it worked! 🤣🤣), it saved me having to bring extra lights myself for the stage.
A very big thank you to ALL the customers who came, took part and enjoyed themselves so much and especially for all the donations to Macmillan Cancer Support, we raised a record breaking amount of just over £2600! 👏👏
The biggest shout out goes to all the Local islands artists, duos and bands who have their time for such a great cause to perform at Folly Fest 2026 as without them, it wouldn't have been what it was! You were all absolutely fantastic and thank you for putting your trust in me to connect through my sound equipment for yourselves to play through, I have to admit, you ALL sounded fantastic through my system!

All the local island talent we're brilliant and these were,
Friday night (although I was not there), Bethan John Music and Side Hustle IOW
Saturday:
Ben Stubbs
Diva-Licious Duo
Hodge and Allen and
Derek Sandy
Sunday:
JustDebs.Sax and husband Shaun the DJ
Emellia and
Catch 22
It was an absolute pleasure and honour to have either worked alongside you again, met you all and to have heard you all. You were all so lovely, amazingly talented and entertaining, thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🩵🩵👏👏 and I hope to see you all again and work alongside you in the future!

I was going to share ALL the videos I took of everyone but unfortunately my page won't allow to share more than one video at a time so I shall hopefully share and tag you all on my personal profile Carl Anthony Wright later on

Many thanks once again to everyone for making it such a brilliant weekend for not only myself but for everyone!

Yesterday saw the wedding of Vicky and Tom and what a fantastic day and night it was! Along with my DJ set up, I had extra equipment for a band to be able to plug in and play through my sound system. They also hired the extra speakers and mics to the package to enable them to play their own music through the day and for their speeches. They also added the ceremony speaker to the package along with myself to play the music for the ceremony, the bridal party and bride entrance song, signing of the register songs and their exit song. It was a truly fabulous day, congratulations again Mr & Mrs Evans!

With Limited sleep after the long day and late night to do it all again. Quick change and load of extra equipment ready for my next venue to be there around 8/9am to do two more very long days at the Folly Inn, supplying all the equipment for artists and bands for the amazing Folly Fest!
