Get to Know Us 😁

Since the early ’90s, Dante’s has been proudly keeping Belfast fed, caffeinated, and occasionally incapable of moving after a Triple Decker. What started as a café on Stranmillis Road quickly became a rite of passage for students, locals, and anyone willing to queue for a sandwich the size of their head.

Back then, surviving university usually required three things: lecture notes, blind optimism, and a visit to Dante’s. The queues outside became so legendary we’re fairly sure some people joined them without even knowing what they were waiting for.

As Belfast grew, so did we. These days, alongside the café favourites, we’ve expanded into corporate hospitality and large-scale catering, with a purpose-built production kitchen helping us feed offices, events, meetings, and the occasional crowd that forgot to organise lunch until the last minute.

A lot has changed over the years, but our recipe remains the same — great food, generous portions, friendly faces
