Our Story

The Mount Charles Group was initially founded in 1988 by owner and Chairman Trevor Annon as a catering company. More than 30 years later and employing over 2500 people, it is now Ireland’s largest indigenous support service organisations, providing a range of services including catering, vending and cleaning.
“The company has grown organically over time by working in partnership with our clients.” comments Trevor. “It was a natural progression for us to extend our services in line with their changing needs- passing on the cost saving and productivity benefits of working with one single supply partner.
As a local company, we have an innate knowledge and understanding of our clients’ organisations and what is important to them that the big international branded companies cannot so easily offer. For example, 85% of our fresh produce is sourced from growers and producers in Northern Ireland so, when we say we use local produce, you know exactly what that means!
The Mount Charles group now supports some of the most prestigious organisations in Northern Ireland and has clients from across the business & industry, healthcare, education and retail sectors. It is our intention to go on growing as they grow, extending our range of services and the reach of our market place to ensure we continue to provide innovative and cost effective solutions to meet and exceed their needs.
