APPLE HARVEST TIME 🍏🍎and it was a real pleasure to have the Dream Team from Live Life Social Enterprises back again earlier in the week.
Great to see so many familiar faces and to meet some new folk too and what a lot of apples! Well done everyone 👏
They're going to be very busy making pies and crumbles to serve to senior citizens who visit their brand new, purpose-built centre in Lisburn, and all I can add is...lucky seniors!😊
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

I COULD WATCH THIS ALL DAY, but the point of this post is to announce...🥁🥁🥁... that Evan's delectable is back in stock.
He's now got more than 20 hives here and the bees have been really busy for months.
With so much to forage on, they don't have to go too far, even early in the year, when there is p***y willow, hawthorn, dandelion and fruit blossom. After that, there's lavender, heather, buddleia, roses, dahlias, mint, sage and rosemary.
Evan has a true passion for his bees and, in the 'not nearly enough' breaks he gets from his day job, he's here making sure they're disease-free and doing what bees do.
It's a real privilege to have bees (and Evan) here 🐝🍯

This gorgeous image of an inula was created at Helen's most recent watercolour afternoon last Sunday.

Helen is now offering a NEW FOUR-WEEK course in watercolour painting in September on Friday afternoons (4th, 11th, 18th & 25th) from 2.00pm - 4.00pm and all materials will be provided.

It's suitable for all levels, from beginner to experienced, but there are only 6 spaces per class so, if you'd like to come along, please DM Helen directly for more info and to book.

There are also a couple of spaces available for her class on Sunday 20th September.

"Each month has given new life and colour, the garden growing and blossoming from spring through to summer, with its roses, lavenders, apples and figs producing fruit and fragrance to inspire .

These afternoons have brought new people and new ideas to the table allowing a creative exploration of the garden with brush and paint.

WHAT A BRILLIANT CREATIVE WELLBEING WORKSHOP led by Gemma .
Last Friday a group of 6-14 year old boys and girls gathered to slow down, get creative and simply enjoy being present.
They had a sensory walk round the garden, smelling fresh herbs and tasting some of our delicious figs!
This was followed by a painting workshop in the hayshed, with either a forest or an ocean theme and you can see the fabulous, vibrant results here!
The evening ended with a peaceful guided meditation in the walled garden- a chance for the children to relax, reflect and soak up the calm surroundings.
