There’s still time to enter Belfast City Council's 22 Under 22 Entrepreneurs to Watch in Belfast competition which closes on Monday 4 November.

This is a great scheme for younger entrepreneurs or a young person who’s starting a business of any kind. Don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what last year’s winner has to say:

“People assume you need to already have a business to apply for something like this, and it’s not the case. I would encourage anyone who has just started something but doesn’t see themselves as trading to apply anyway – if you’re not already trading, the programme will help you to get there.

“Also, people also don’t see themselves as entrepreneurs if they are making jewellery or providing services such as hairdressing, nails, craft making but all of these are businesses. It’s helpful to be with people of a similar age as you don’t feel out of place.”
