SUNDAY'S MENU IS HERE!
After all the lovely feedback from the last market, we've listened... and this time there'll be even more gluten-free options on offer 🌿

Because everyone deserves delicious cake, whether you're egg-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, or just here for the flavours and the vibes.

Not just cute packaging 💜

A lot of people commented on how carefully the cakes were wrapped and that was an attraction to the cakes, and there’s a reason for that.

Because our bakes are egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free and some are gluten-free; packaging plays a big part in keeping each slice safe, fresh, and protected from cross-contamination.

And while I’ve thought carefully about the sustainability impact of using plastic, for now, food safety and allergen protection have to come first.

So yes, the labels and boxes are cute… but they’re also part of making free-from baking feel safe, intentional, and made with care ✨

Our first market at Bedford Flea this Sunday left me feeling so encouraged 💜

The love for the free-from cakes was REAL. So many people stopped to tell me they knew someone who needed egg/dairy free or even gluten-free options, and it reminded me again, just how important inclusive baking is.

One thing I’m definitely taking away?
You want MORE gluten-free options, so don’t worry… I’m already planning for the next one ✨

It was also so special meeting people who’ve been following my journey online and finally getting to chat in real life. Plus having friends and family pop by to support made the whole day feel extra awesome.

The feedback on the cakes, flavours and packaging honestly meant so much, thank you to everyone who stopped by, sampled, bought, shared, followed or supported in any way.

And we’re not stopping here…

Quiet on here… but VERY busy in the kitchen ✨

While we’ve been a little quiet online, we’ve been behind the scenes creating some really special birthday cakes, including this mermaid beauty for a very lucky little girl!🧜🏾‍♀️

Bright colours, deep ocean vibes, and all the magic she asked for… because that’s what bespoke cakes are all about ✨

Between custom orders and getting ready for my first market day, it’s been full-on in the best way, and I can’t wait to share more of what’s coming.

So if you’ve been wondering where we’ve been… just know the oven’s been ON and the creativity hasn’t stopped. 💜

This one was extra special, a fully bespoke two-tier cake designed by the birthday girl herself (we LOVE a creative director moment!👏🏾)

Two tiers for the big 1-0 ✔️

Lavender ombré ✔️
Pretty ribbons ✔️

And the flavours? Say less…
🍰 Vanilla on top
🍋 Lemon & elderflower on the bottom; fresh, zesty, and celebration-ready.

Wootton, you were special 💜

My second fair and I’m taking away so much from this one…

So many lovely people with kind words, encouragement and the brief but meaningful conversations meant a lot ✨

A moment I didn’t expect, my little brother surprised me by showing up to support, another reminder of how important it is to have people around you, who show up!

And what I’m learning on this journey:
✨ People might be unsure about dairy-free cakes… but once they get a taste, they get it (the review from Sam Cole says it all!)

✨ Samples + flavour always win

✨ There is space for free-from baking, and I’m so excited to keep growing!

This is only the beginning and I'm looking forward to more markets later this year and more people discovering egg & dairy-free cakes that are full of flavour 💜

Our first fair in Silsoe… and wow, what a day✨

Here’s what I learned as an egg & dairy-free baker in Bedford:
🌳Silsoe is such a beautiful, welcoming village, so many lovely conversations (even from people who weren’t buying…yet 👀)

💜 People LOVE our cakes — and the samples definitely proved that!

🌿 Flavour matters, our spiced ginger & maple buttercream cake (donated to the church) went down so well, reminding me that free-from cakes can still be full of flavour!

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 Having support is everything; I’m so grateful my eldest daughter was with me all day and to everyone who stopped by with kind words and encouragement.

📍 Most importantly…there is a growing demand for egg & dairy-free cakes right here in Bedford, this was just the beginning, and I’m so excited for more fairs and opportunities in 2026 💫

Thank you to everyone who supported, tasted, chatted, and cheered me on, it means more than you know.
