BELLIES FULL OF LAUGHTER (and curry) 🍛🎟️🤭
Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us last night for a very special evening of fundraising on our journey to the 26th World Scout Jamboree Polska 2027 with BedsWSJ.
Ellie, Rory, Ryan and Sam from the Aspley Guise Scout Group hosted an evening at the Jalori (Indian Cuisine) in Woburn Sands, with 70 people coming together to celebrate their experiences so far, and enjoy some great food and a raffle.
With just under a year to go until their actual journey to Poland begins (and around 10 months of fundraising remaining), it's incredible to see how they've developed in confidence, as a group, and become brilliant ambassadors for not only the World Scout Jamboree, but also Scouting in general. And the support from the community continues to leave us speechless!
Needless to say, it was a great evening, and no doubt the lucky raffle winners have spent the day admiring and enjoying their prizes - we received some brilliant donations (although there's a chance the football themed sponge might end up on eBay 😂).
Thank you all for the incredible support, comments and gestures - keep following us as we progress towards our fundraising targets and the experience of a lifetime.
A huge thank you to our local raffle prize donors, some of whom can be found at the monthly Woburn Sands Community Market:
