Happy 1st anniversary Marie & Stuart 📄
As with most of my clients, I was introduced to Marie and Stuart through a personal recommendation in October 2023.
With a mutual love for travelling and good food, they had identified Italy and Croatia as contenders for their destination wedding to take place the following year. So we got to work. I arranged a series of virtual visits with venues which aligned with the couple’s brief and budget.
From the virtual visits, Marie and Stuart shortlisted their two favourites and we arranged a weekend visit to Puglia a month later.
And so, their venue of choice became Villa San Martino, a family-run treasure in Martina Franca, Puglia; the region I spent many summers visiting my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Villa San Martino was the perfect setting to host all their guests and pre and post wedding celebrations.
The temperature was unusually cool that weekend, but the wedding weather Gods were kind on the big day, and it stayed warm and dry, perfect for the ‘I dos’ to be held in the garden, and the dinner and evening celebrations to go ahead as planned in the incredible amphitheatre.
I have such fond memories of working with this fun, kind couple who clearly treasure their friends and family, and embrace every opportunity to travel the world together.
