Another weekend, another flower crown hen do! This time at the lovely in Tiffield - the perfect venue for the girls to relax and enjoy the grounds filled with special spaces, art installations and pretty flowers. Such a pleasure to join the girls on their special weekend- they were planning to wear them out for dinner in the evening and I can’t wait to see the photos!

What a perfect day peony picking at .secret.farm. This week it was a lot easier to find the perfect stems as the colour shone across the field. I chose a few big blooms of coral sunset just for me to enjoy this weekend , the rest will be going out tommorrow for subscription customers or bunches picked to order.

We had a wonderful day on Friday christening our new workshop space. With buckets of locally grown flowers and some special stems to pick from the beds, our guests made beautiful small arrangements followed by tea and cake. We had a granddaughter with her grandma , mums and daughters, 3 generations celebrating a special birthday and a local lady on her own wanting to try something new.

We were trialling a new cheaper shorter workshop to try to make these experiences accessible to more people.
This was definitely a big success and had some lovely feedback about the setting, format, timings and cost.

We have a few more of these sessions set up over the summer - Friday 5th June, Friday 10th July- 10am, 2 pm and 5pm. Come and join us for a special session.

Join us next weekend at Turvey House to create a beautiful spring vase to brighten your house with colour and scent. Due to popular demand we have organised two@weekend workshops on the 18 th April and 6 th June to create a vase and bouquet.

Following a guided tour of the beautiful walled garden you will be shown how to make a vase or bouquet perfect to decorate your home. Enjoy a mindful few hours with likeminded creatives who who enjoy being surrounded by nature at its best - plus the cutest resident and guest animals.

Pip the cat was too cute to not have her own post. She followed us around on our tour of the gardens turveyhouse, jumped up in our workbenches and even wanted to get involved in a photoshoot at the end. After losing my super friendly cat the week before, Pip was the perfect tonic and I might need to go back for more regular cat therapy!

Are you ready for some mindful creative fun times in 2026? Spring workshops are now available on the website. Also dates for the rest of the year including Christmas have been emailed out to last years attendees so keep an eye out as these often end up in junk.

Starting on the 13 th/ 14th February with a heart shaped wreath to welcome the season of love. Followed by a Mothers Day workshop, spring wreath workshops in March and table centre, vase, bouquet and flower crown workshops in April and May.

In with the new…. Don’t be sad to lose your lovely Christmas door wreath, just replace it with another seasonal one to keep your door looking pretty all year round. We strongly believe that door wreaths aren’t just for Christmas and that your door deserved to look pretty all year round.

We are excited to be offering heart wreath workshops on the 13th and 14th February to bring a bit of love back to your door. We can also make them for you or a loved one to bring some joy and seasonal appreciation to your door.
