I've always adored vintage from a young age, especially the connection between vintage fashion, music and dancing, ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s. Nothing brings me more joy than dressing up for an evening of swing dancing, which is why Twinwood is my favourite weekend of the year!

My name is Boo Brazowski …. Yes thats the name in my passport too. What can I say about myself… well I’ve been wearing vintage in different forms all my life and my earliest memory is dressing 1920’s at the age of 9 for the Silver Jubilee. In the early years much of my vintage was bought at jumble sales and from Brick lane. My Saturday job at Woolies helped greatly. I got so much for so little back then. Now days it can be from anywhere. May be from a shop, online or even through friends and family as they all know my style and any clearance I’m always thought of thankfully. My style is mainly late 40’s to late 50’s but I’m still known to dip my toe in 1920’s every now and then.
I get so much joy from what I wear and the vintage scene is such an important part of my life. I have made such wonderful memories with amazing people that I now get to call my friends that will last a lifetime.

I have always had an interest in history and love researching labels of clothing and accessories. I enjoy dressing in a variety of eras with the 1940s and 1950s being my main styles. My pic is from a trip to Burgh island where I got to take this lovely 1930s dress out for another outing. I love the idea of the outfits and accessories having another time to shine.

Vintage has been a part of my household and I’ve slowly been drawn into it, starting with 1940’s suits and I’ve recently found my love for 50’s through events.
