🇪🇸 Madrid – August

Had a great time exploring Madrid in August! I visited the San Miguel Market, wandered around Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor and El Retiro Park, and saw some amazing sights including the Temple of Debod, Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral.

Madrid is a beautiful city with so much to see, and I loved being able to explore a lot of it on foot. 🌆☀️

Tip: If you visit in summer, take plenty of water and try to explore earlier or later in the day as it can get really hot! 🇪🇸❤️

Hi guys!

I went to Rome in August for my birthday, and I wanted to share a little bit about what I got up to! ✈️❤️

During my trip, I visited the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, as well as doing a Sistine Chapel and Vatican City tour. I also got to see some of Rome’s most famous sights, including the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, wandered around the beautiful streets, and of course tried lots of delicious Italian food! 🍝🍕🍦

A few tips from my trip:

👟 Take comfy shoes! We did thousands of steps every day, and by the end of the trip my feet were definitely feeling it! 😂

☀️ August is VERY hot in Rome! If you don’t cope well with the heat, I’d definitely recommend avoiding August if possible. It was absolutely roasting! 🥵

🚶‍♀️ Everything felt very walkable. In my opinion, a lot of the main sights are fairly close to each other, so we were able to explore so much of the city on foot.

Overall, I had such an amazing time in Rome and would definitely love to go back one day! 🇮🇹✨

🍬 Well, this was a lovely surprise! 💙

After helping a lovely customer sort out a problem they were having with their holiday, they came back from Türkiye with this little treat for me! 🇹🇷🥰

I never expect anything in return — being able to help and get things back on track is all part of the job — but little gestures like this really do mean so much. 💙✈️

A little taste of Türkiye to say thank you… and I’m definitely not sharing! 😂🍬🇹🇷
