A different perspective 🌿

Sometimes it helps to see it from above to understand just how special and unique this little corner of the countryside really is.

Tucked away on the edge of a vast lake, surrounded by nothing but fields, trees and water stretching out around it, The Lakeside is a secluded, private and breathtaking natural beauty spot.

This isn’t a back garden, a characterless paddock or a field that looks remote but isn’t. The Lakeside is a nature reserve-esque waterfront meadow nestled within 350 private acres of the Wild Berry Farm | Farm, Pub & Events estate, offering a genuine sense of escape, privacy and space for your celebration.

Our couples have the freedom to make this setting completely their own. Sailcloth marquees, stretch tents, tipis, yurts, outdoor ceremonies, drinks by the water, dinner overlooking the lake and, of course those wow-factor couple portraits on the jetty.

No corridors. No carpets or wallpaper that don’t quite match your aesthetic. No other weddings taking place next door. No fitting your plans around a traditional venue format. Just four days of exclusive use, giving you all the time you need to bring your unique wedding vision to life, a beautiful blank canvas and one rather spectacular lake.

We’re now taking bookings for 2027 & 2028, with show rounds available throughout September if you’d like to come and experience the space for yourself.

Happy First Anniversary 🦢

A wedding so good that all of our swans decided to join the guest list!

It’s hard to believe that over a year has passed since the fabulous wedding of E&M, and we didn’t want too much more time to pass without wishing this gorgeous couple a very happy first anniversary 🥂 We hope you’ve had the best time celebrating.

This gorgeous day was high-energy from start to finish, with the focus firmly on good food, good drinks and good times. The colour palette of toffees, creams, browns and olive tones was ideally suited the late-summer setting, and the bride’s dress change was perfection – as was their fabulous first dance, complete with lifts and spins.

Most importantly, this day was full of love, laughter and celebration, with guests travelling from far and wide to celebrate our wonderful couple. It was an absolute joy to be part of.

Going out with a bang 🎉

M&R brought our 2026 wedding season to a fabulous close with a truly personal, emotional and FUN wedding on Saturday. We loved every moment of this one for such a gorgeous couple, who were so passionate and invested in bringing their unique wedding vision to life at our venue 🫶

There’s so much more to share from this beautiful day, but for now, a snippet of their epic first dance and a very heartfelt thank you to this wonderful couple for choosing us for such a fabulous celebration. They worked incredibly hard – with the support of their close family and friends – to create all of the design, décor and florals themselves, and it was so special to see everything they had envisioned come together 💪

As always, huge thanks to the brilliant supplier team behind this wedding, especially our wonderful in-house team and , who have helped us bring every single wedding at to life this year 👏🏼

Happy First Anniversary, A & N 🪩

One whole year since this wonderfully colourful celebration at The Lakeside.

From four-legged ring bearers and a ceremony beneath the stretch tent, to a tipi filled with laughter, dancing and love, this wedding was full of personality from beginning to end. Every detail reflected the the couple perfectly, and it was such a pleasure to play a part in bringing it all together.

This is the perfect time to visit as we prepare for our forthcoming weddings. No creative imagination required! Step inside the marquee, explore our breathtaking lakeside wedding venue and see first-hand how the meadow comes to life on a wedding day.

We have a variety of private show-round appointments available on weekday afternoons and evenings over the coming weeks, with just a handful of weekend appointments available too – so be quick before they’re gone!

When we first imagined hosting weddings here at we knew our wildlife-abundant, mirror-like lake would be the star of the show. We wanted a place where couples and guests could pause for a moment together, surrounded by nothing but water, wildlife and the landscape.
