Hello Everyone!
I know I’ve been quiet, but I’m still here! Life has been busy with none KIM Events work, personal adventures and some proper time off.
With Christmas upon us & New Year approaching, I just wanted to wish you all a safe one.
For many, this time of year can be incredibly tough for a variety of reasons. Whether through the loss of a loved one, personal circumstances or anything & everything under the sun, Christmas can be one of the hardest periods of the year to get through.
You may feel under pressure to be feeling ‘Merry & Bright’, to socialise, partake in the Christmas celebrations.
Please know, you absolutely do not have to be Merry & Bright, seen at Christmas celebrations or socialise.
You can get through this time of year however you wish. Whatever is needed and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. That’s how you do it.
As a Mental Health First Aider, please know my messages are open if you need someone to talk to.
In the slides after my Christmas Snap, I’ve provided a variety of contact details for support. I will also be linking to website: where these are from: in my story (which I will add to my highlights for use at all times).
If I’m also not mistaken, still runs on X (originally started by Sarah Millican but has become a well known staple of Christmas online).
However you spend this time of year, I hope you know you are loved, you are worthy, and you are absolutely allowed to spend this period however you wish!
With love
Kim
