A little bit of magic for a very special wedding day… ✨

This elegant three-tier wedding cake may look classic at first glance, but hidden within the design are subtle nods to the couple’s love of Harry Potter 🪄⚡️ From the iconic Deathly Hallows symbol to a golden Snitch, magical details were woven into a timeless design of ivory, gold and navy.

This three-tier beauty was finished with soft textured buttercream, delicate fresh flowers in blush, lilac, peach and ivory, and the prettiest trailing greenery.

From the elegant all-white wedding cake, finished with delicate sugar pearls and soft flowing ribbon, to the gorgeous greenery-filled tablescape — every detail came together so beautifully. 🤍🌿

I absolutely loved creating this timeless three-tier cake for a day filled with such gorgeous styling.

The black ribbon details, lush foliage and candlelight created the perfect balance of elegant, modern and effortlessly romantic. 🖤🤍

And of course… no wedding cake is complete without that special moment when it takes centre stage! 🎂✨

☕️ Monday morning check-in…

Well, the first week of August has absolutely flown by! 🌸🎂💍

It’s been another lovely (and very busy!) week here at Fairy Cakes & Co. with a little bit of everything…

💍 Wedding cakes — beautiful celebrations and gorgeous couples, with some very special cakes heading off to their venues.

🎂 Birthday cakes — lots of lovely bespoke designs created to make those milestone birthdays and celebrations extra special.

📩 Enquiries — my inbox has been busy too, with lots of new enquiries coming in for the months ahead. It’s always so exciting hearing about your plans and helping bring your cake ideas to life!

Behind the scenes there’s also been plenty of baking, decorating, planning and probably far too much tea! ☕️😂

Now onto the second week of August, and I’m looking ahead to another busy week in the studio.

If you’re planning a wedding, birthday or special celebration for later this year or early 2027 now is a great time to get in touch. Some dates are already filling up, particularly for weddings and autumn celebrations

I’m so excited to share my daughter’s new venture with you Createdbybeanz

She’s been passionate about photography for years and has always loved capturing the little moments, details and memories at family occasions and events. She’s now turning that passion into a side hustle, offering content creation and photography for weddings, parties and special events.

She’s currently looking to build her portfolio and work with some lovely couples and clients, so if you’re planning a wedding, birthday, party, celebration or special event, she’d love to hear from you.

Think beautiful candid moments, behind-the-scenes content, all those little details you want to remember, and plenty of gorgeous content ready to share on your socials

As she’s starting out, she’ll be offering portfolio-building packages at introductory prices, making this a lovely opportunity to have your special moments captured without the cost of a traditional full-day photographer.
