Christmas Cake is being dressed with marzipan for shipment. Made to my mother's recipe the Christmas cake is made with semolina, cashew, ginger, dried and preserved fruits.
The fruits have been steeped in brandy. This is a slow baked cake for 3 hours.

Well loved collar, bowl, lead and dog bed abandoned,
A wise, gentle old sole departed,
Unconditional love, patience and understanding,
An epitome of hope, raced after every whippet,
An ardent Swimmer, no canal, stream, pond, river nor muddy puddle ignored,
Nine years of wonderful memories that warm our hearts, bring smiles and tears

Wild Atlantic Salmon fillets oven roasted with Rasai Ceylon Warm Spice Mix over seasonal greens tempered in Sri Lankan blacK pepper with a velvet white sauce infused with Sri Lankan Cinnamon & thym. Great on its own or with rice.

It's 3°C outside. Just got in from taking Mani for his evening walk. There is something to be said about the warmth and comfort of Sri Lankan curry. Slow roasted pork loin (marinated in Rasai Ceylon's curry marinade and roasted for 4hrs) with deviled chickpeas @ www.rasaiceylon.com
