Announcing our June Bookmonger Society pick…
The Artist by Lucy Steeds, now out in paperback, and our members are getting it a whole week before the official release date.
Set across a sun-drenched summer in 1920s Provence, France, this is a slow-burning, atmospheric story of art, secrets, and desire, its the perfect choice for your pre-summer reading list. ☀️
Shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and the British Book Awards Debut Fiction Prize, this is a book that has been turning heads since the moment it landed.
It also comes very highly recommended by our neighbour Paul Smith of here in Bearsden. We hope you all enjoy it as much as he did.
📅 Wednesday 17 June | 7:30 p.m.
📅 Thursday 18 June | 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are £25 and include your paperback copy of The Artist, a signature Bookmonger charcuterie board, book discussion, and Kahoot! trivia with prizes. Wine, soft drinks, and beer available to purchase on the night. Audiobook also available, or choose a swap ticket if you already have the book!
