🌳 Yay, I’ve finally got round to posting about an event I hosted in April at The House of Tree in Chesham. Well, what can I say… this was the third time I had hosted here and as always, it did not disappoint. Set within beautiful farmland, the location really couldn’t be more stunning (the sunset is breath taking!). If you live locally please do think about visiting sometime soon, even if it’s just popping by for a coffee. It’s a charity venue run by the nicest people I have ever met, so why not check out their events page too. https://houseoftree.co.uk/
🎟️ Tickets sold out in record time for this event, which obviously speaks volumes and confirms we’re pitching it right. The room is always filled with such friendly, fun-loving people, and my gigs always seem to attract a very wide demographic here, with players ranging from 16 to 80+ year olds! The feedback I receive on the night, and afterwards, never fails to make me feel very loved.
🎵 So anyway, after a quick round of video music bingo, our players got to participate in one of my infamous, quirky wireless Quizzy Sue quizzes. Not for the faint hearted, the questions are completely crafted by myself, and are always interesting and cheeky (sometimes shocking!), helping to keep my audiences fully engaged in a ridiculously fun way.
🥇🏆 In a very tense last round we saw the early leaders, Table One, drop down to second position. However, a worthy mention goes out to one of their team members Sarah, who for the third time in a row, achieved the highest score in the room, consequently being crowned our ‘Top Banana’ of the evening. Many congratulations to Table Thirteen’ for their surprise win - I don’t think I’ve ever seen a quiz team quite so excited and animated before!
