Last night I attended a VIP screening of a movie all about the war in Ukraine and the amazing people from Yorkshire Aid and ReusingIT who are helping the ordinary people of Ukraine.
This documentary is a masterpiece! It’s incredibly thought provoking, inspirational and quite upsetting to watch but I think it should be watched! I’m certainly glad that I did!
My friend Ross was one of the brave volunteers who went to Ukraine with the aid convoys and this documentary shows very graphically these incredibly selfless people doing what they do!

I’m going to talk with Ross today to find out what they need and possibly offer a free drop off point at all of my 4 businesses to help.

As a DJ of 48 years experience, I have been doing Christmas parties for 48 years and when I tell you that the Atholl Palace Christmas party nights are the best I have ever seen I’m not joking.
The combination of a beautiful venue with an amazing Function suite and great staff and an absolutely delicious meal combined with great entertainment. It really is the best party night in Scotland.
You can really make a day of it by staying over so you don’t need to worry about driving and the hotel will even pick you up at the local railway station if you travel to Pitlochry by train .

Have you booked your Christmas party night yet? Time is running out, but I know that The Atholl Palace in Pitlochry has a few places left on some of its nights!
I’m the Dj there and I can tell you that in my opinion this is the best Christmas party night in Scotland.
The food is amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful and you’ll have a Christmas party to remember!
Entertainment comes from myself and The Alba Ceilidh Band who I’ve worked with for the last few years there.

The Atholl Palace can provide accomodation too so you can have a lovely breakfast in the morning and not need to worry about driving home.

I tried something different on Saturday night with my Equinox Helix lights. My new Dj console stand only can take 6 Helix’s and I have 10 of them. They are quite wide and the hanging bracket only lets you hang them from under the bar as if you turn it upside down the hearts are the wrong way up. However if you shine them on the dance floor they are the right way up and what an effect!
I just love this photo which was taken at the Civil Service Club in Perth.
I’m going to drill some new holes in my lighting bar so I can get 8 hanging under the bar and then put 2-4 on top upside down.

Delivering my 4 foot tall giant letters spelling Mr and Mrs and Love at one of my favourite venues in Scotland GG‘s yard at Gatehouse of fleet. What a stunning venue this is!
