Meet Iulia & Kaz 🤍 .
I loved photographing these two. .
Originally from Moldova and now living in London, they chose Bath for their intimate wedding — and what stayed with me most wasn’t the wedding itself, but the way they were with each other.
The little looks. The laughter. The closeness. Those quiet moments when it felt like nobody else was in the room.
Those are the photographs I love creating — natural, honest and full of feeling. The kind that take you straight back to how you felt on the day.
I always say to my couples:
Be yourselves, and I’ll do the rest. .
Before your wedding, I take time to get to know you, understand what matters to you and what you’re comfortable with. Then, on the day, I work around you.
Sometimes I’ll step back and let things happen naturally. Sometimes I’ll give you a little direction when I see an opportunity for something beautiful.
No two couples are the same, so I don’t believe their photographs should be either.
For me, it’s not simply about turning up with two cameras and taking photographs.

Every now and then, a review comes along that really stays with you. 🤍

What my couple wrote means so much to me, not just because they were happy with their photographs, but because they noticed the detailed things that mattered too — listening, being there, helping with ideas, keeping communication easy, and making the whole experience feel relaxed and personal.
For me, wedding photography has never been just about taking photographs.

It’s about being trusted with a really important day in someone’s life, getting to know the couple, and quietly looking for those genuine moments that they’ll want to remember for years to come.

All the way from Mexico to a quiet corner of Bath... this was truly special and touching 🇲🇽✨

When Alex first reached out to me online from Mexico, he had a vision: he wanted to pop the question to Yan in a secluded, intimate spot surrounded by nature. Planning a surprise proposal from thousands of miles away can feel daunting, so I worked closely with him every step of the way to make sure everything fell into place seamlessly.

From the selection of iconic locations around Bath Spa, he chose the Botanical Gardens. With its lush greenery and iconic stone bridge, it set the quietest, most magical scene for the moment he went down on one knee.

Looking back at these photos, words don’t really do it justice. The genuine joy, the relief, the quiet tears, and the unfiltered happiness on both their faces—that’s exactly why I love doing what I do. Being trusted to capture a core memory for two people in love is an absolute privilege.

One of the most exciting parts of a wedding day? The bouquet toss. 💐 
It lasts about 5 seconds, but when it’s done well, it becomes one of those joyful, chaotic, laugh-out-loud moments that everyone remembers.

As your photographer, I don’t just stand back and hope for the best. I’ll guide you through it so it feels natural, relaxed and genuinely fun — no awkward crowd shuffling or rushed countdowns.

My simple bouquet toss guide for brides-to-be 
1. Give me a quick heads-up beforehand If you’re planning a bouquet toss, let me know during the day (or even better, before the wedding). I can choose the best spot for light, background and guest reactions.
2. Pick a clear open space A terrace, garden, lawn or dance floor with a little room behind your guests works beautifully. We want space for movement and for the bouquet to be visible in the air.
3. Hold the bouquet low first Start with it in front of you rather than already raised above your head. This gives me a lovely sequence of anticipation, laughter, the throw, and the reaction afterwards.
4. Turn slightly to one side Standing at a slight angle looks more flattering in photos and helps create a better throwing motion.
5. Don’t rush the throw…
 I’ll usually say something like: “Girls... Are you ready, …on 3… Big smiles now, one… two… three… and throw it high!”
 A higher throw gives us those beautiful in-flight bouquet shots and gives your guests a second to react.

6. Keep smiling afterwards. The best images are often after the bouquet leaves your hands — the cheering, pointing, laughing and hugging are priceless.

One year ago today, Jodie & Felix quietly did things their way. 🤍

No big production. No pressure to follow tradition. Just the two of them, surrounded by the people they love, celebrating at the beautiful Bath Spa Hotel.

It’s weddings like this that remind me why I’ve gradually found myself photographing more intimate celebrations. When there are fewer distractions, there’s more room for the moments that really matter. A glance across the room. A reassuring squeeze of the hand. A smile that says everything without a single word.

This photograph has always been one of my favourites. Nothing was staged. Felix simply lifted Jodie’s hand, paused for a second, and kissed it. I didn’t say a thing. I just pressed the shutter.
Those are the moments I love most—the ones you could never ask someone to recreate.

Happy 1st Anniversary, Jodie & Felix. I hope your first year of marriage has been every bit as joyful as the day it began. Wishing you both a lifetime of quiet moments like this one. ❤️

Dogs at weddings have a way of stealing hearts... and I’m completely okay with that. 🐾🤍 
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting some spectacular weddings. Every one has had its own story. Beautiful venues, heartfelt speeches, emotional first looks... but every now and then, a wedding gives me a memory I’ll never forget. 
One of those moments was when a couple told me there was one very important guest who simply had to be part of their day. Their best friend. Their shadow. Their four-legged family member. 
Watching them laugh together, cuddle between portraits, and naturally include their dog wasn’t about creating the perfect photograph. It was about capturing their life. Because for them, their family wouldn’t have felt complete without those muddy paws making an appearance. 
It’s moments like these that remind me why I love photographing intimate weddings. The day isn’t about perfection. It’s about the people—and sometimes the pets—you couldn’t imagine celebrating without.

Years from now, these photographs won’t just remind them of how they looked on their wedding day. They’ll remind them of who was there, who made them smile, and the little soul who was by their side through every chapter of their story.

There’s something about a military wedding that feels different.

From the outside, you notice the immaculate uniform, the medals, the traditions... everything carried out with precision and pride.
Spending a little time with Ana and Tobias, and all of that quietly fades into the background…

What I saw was a Major who couldn’t stop smiling every time he looked at his bride. The discipline disappeared, replaced by the same nervous excitement and quiet affection that every groom feels on their wedding day.
As we wandered through the gardens after their ceremony at the Temple of Minerva, it reminded me that the strongest people often have the gentlest hearts.
 Perhaps that’s why stories like these have always captured our imagination.
Not because of the uniform…

But because behind every salute, every medal and every carefully polished button, there’s simply someone who found the person they’d been waiting for.
During our private photo session at the Botanic Garden, that’s exactly what these two beautiful souls looked like.

One of the things I’ll remember most is just how comfortable they were together.

I hardly needed to guide them at all.

As we wandered through the beautiful grounds, they naturally reached for each other’s hand, laughed at little things only they understood, stopped to admire the gardens, and occasionally looked at one another with those smiles that say everything without a single word.

Nothing felt forced.

There wasn’t a need to ask them to “act natural”… because they already were.

Those are always my favourite weddings to photograph. When couples trust each other, trust the moment, and trust me enough to simply let the day unfold.

Some weddings have a way of slowing everything down… and Elena & Matteo’s was one of them.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends at the beautiful Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel, there was no rush, no pressure to stick to a timeline every second of the day. Just two people enjoying every moment, exactly as it happened.

The atmosphere was calm, easy-going and full of quiet happiness. The kind of wedding where everyone could simply be present.

Three years ago today, Sarah and Dan tied the knot in the heart of Bath, surrounded by their closest family and a whole lot of love.

From the moment I met them, they were the definition of easy-going – no fuss, no stress, just two people completely happy to be marrying their best friend.

Looking back at these photos still brings a smile to my face. Proof that you don’t need a huge wedding to celebrate your love for each other… just the right people and plenty of laughter.

Happy 3rd (Leather) Anniversary, you two!
I hope life is still full of fun, little adventures, and moments like this one. Here’s to many more years of doing life together, hand in hand.
