🎭 The Rondo Revamp is done! 🎭

Over six years ago we decided to embark on a humungous journey: to give our auditorium a new lease of life.

Since 1989 our performance space has remained largely the same, with our original seating coming from the Scala cinema in Oldfield Park. But after welcoming over 380,000 visitors and hosting thousands of shows, we decided it was time to future proof the venue.

But a massive change like this doesn’t just happen over night. The Rondo Revamp was made possible by the generous donations and voluntary time offered by local individuals and community groups. A massive thank you to everyone who helped this revamp come to fruition; whether you donated to the seating, bought one of our old chairs, helped construct one of the new seats, or even painted the walls. A big thank you! ✨

Tonight we open our theatre doors to welcome our seat sponsors, volunteers, staff, trustees, and friends of The Rondo to have the first look at our new seating! ✨

Fancy a peek at them in person? Then come and join us next Thursday when Luna Theatrics take to the stage for the first time since our Rondo Revamp!
