I have just received a Google alert advising I have a new review, it’s so lovely, I am sharing it here with much pride for who I am and how I show up.

This is why I love working alongside people, hearing their stories, knowing their people if I can, spending time exploring what ceremony looks and feels like.

Co-creating an authentic ceremony that not only honours but celebrates the life of your person as fully as we can.

I love being with my grandson ✨🩵✨

He makes me smile from the inside out.

He is the sweetest boy who has the biggest heart ❤️

He is funny, clever, interesting, curious, kind, magical, ace and yes a Bristol City football fan!

We took him to his first race day at Mendip yesterday, he took it all in - silence at first as he gazed at the track working out what was happening and then a running commentary on which car was his to win, their colours, their numbers , the smell, the dust, the action and of course the great tunes !

He loved it 🥰

We loved it 🥰

It was a beautiful day, chatting to other supporters. Enjoying the summer sunshine that blessed the track and the beautiful mendips.

This ⬇️✨💖✨

Sheep on a hillside don't check what flock the others belong to. They simply graze together, sharing the same ground, the same weather, the same quiet.

Interfaith ministry works a little like this. It isn't about blending every tradition into one, or asking anyone to set theirs aside. It's about being on shared ground: the same questions, the same longing for meaning, the same need to be met with care, while still belonging fully to your own path.

Community, at its best, doesn't ask us to be the same. It asks us to be present, together.

What a fabulous sign spotted in Bristol Cumberland basin / Hotwells / harbour area where the former caravan park was.

It spoke to my heart ❤️

Despite not living in Bristol anymore, I feel deeply connected to it for the 50 plus years I did.

I still work in Bristol, I have family and many friends who live there.

I have so many favourite places, the harbour side being one, being next to water 💦 and the draw of many attractions like the balloons 🎈

I love coming home to my quieter life now, with skies full of stars ✨ the sounds of cattle 🐄 the sight of deer 🦌 & bats 🦇 it’s special.

Bristol is home is so many ways ✨❤️✨

Home means so many things to me as I grow; it’s my relationship with my husband, it’s my family being together and the people around me wherever we are together.

Feeling blessed for all that home means to me ✨🙏✨

I saw this as my uni experience that I didn’t have as a mature student.

This memory popped up on my personal page today.

The photo of our son, my brother & myself was taken in Croyde when our daughter was away surfing 🏄 with uni (Brumsurf).

It holds so many memories for me, mostly the love we all shared and the fun we all had.

It reminded me of my caring role within this, of knowing Buddy wasn’t still quite himself after a funny turn a few months earlier in the kitchen when he was quiet, vacant, unable to speak and unable to weight bare.

The paramedics ( two young men) at the time checked him over, he loved men and was full of life flirting with them.

He didn’t go to hospital on that occasion.

We later found out after another incident that Buddy had indeed had a stroke earlier in the year.

This made so much sense in terms of his presentation.

I loved being with Buddy, being his sister, being alongside him in life and although his end of life care was really hard at times, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I am so proud we all cared for Buddy, he shared our home for 18.5years and our hearts from day one through each of our relationships.
