It’s been a full-on weekend at The Table! We kicked things off on Friday with a visit from the brilliant team at . I was first introduced to their damson gin back in 2014, after my very first lesson with Edward —it’s tradition to enjoy a glass post-lesson. It was a real pleasure to finally meet the people behind the bottle.
Saturday was all about venison. Our friend Mark from took me on my very first deer stalk. I made the most of the experience, using every part of the animal. Unfortunately, buck fever got the better of me this time—but Mark’s kindly offered to take me out again, which I’m really looking forward to. Out of all our themed menus, this one might just be my favourite.
Sunday wrapped things up perfectly with a lovely birthday celebration for some of our regulars. One of the highlights of the weekend? Standing on the peg with their young son and helping him hit his very first clay. The look of pure excitement on his face said it all.
