Adorable floral arch for an adorable couple ❤️ Huge congrats to the lovely Aimee & Jamie who celebrated at Basingstoke last weekend. The brief - to create a floral arch for an outdoor ceremony with a scattering of lilacs and ivories. Haven’t used lilac in a while and have to say all the pretty shades available in florals made it a beautiful choice. Our faux autumn fairylit trees are making their first appearance at today matching their beautiful surroundings perfectly. We also hired out and created some other fabulous pieces for the wedding today but they have to remain a surprise. Looking for a way to easily decorate your aisle yourself (or with a little help from your friends or even the venue!) then this is a really simple idea with stunning results. You might have to hire the aisle carpet (around £60-£90 depending on length needed although you can buy more disposable type runners online) or you can just use petals (real or faux) to make an aisle edge. Start with hurricane lamps with pillar candles or any sort of lanterns or oversized jars (check out places like Ikea, The Range or even DIY stores to grab lanterns at summer sale prices) or hire them cheaply (from about £8 each), add some little tealights in glass votives or recycled jars or even dessert dishes, then buy a bunch of ‘ruscus’ or greenery from somewhere like or or use greenery foraged from the garden (ivy works well). Potted herbs can replace the greenery or even potted white flowers would look amazing. To reduce the cost you can decorate every second row rather than each row. Stain or paint the little easels, stain the log slices and use a Posca paint pen to draw on table numbers or names (if you’re not sure about doing it freehand then use a stencil or the good old tracing paper and pencil method) and you have some very lovely and budget friendly table numbers! Looking for a bit of a wow factor for your wedding venue entrance but flower arches aren’t really your thing, then how about our tall faux evergreen trees. Available in a range of different pots and at over 6ft tall they make quite a statement. At night we’ll switch on the warm white fairylights to add some magic. You can hire just two trees or as many as you like. Want a centrepiece you can easily recreate yourselves? Of course you can hire pieces from us or get all these items secondhand from wedding websites or find budget friendly pieces online or in places like The Range or B&M. Choose a lantern (or hurricane lamp) for the central piece then surround with either faux or real greenery, print up a simple table number on card (and go over the number with a gold paint pen) and find a pretty memorable/photo holder to pop it into and surround with little votive candles and you have a beautifully stylish centrepiece. Of course you could switch this up by adding faux or real roses or flowers amongst the greenery. Make the lanterns do double duty and use them to line your aisle then have your venue transfer them to the centre of your tables for your reception. If you’d like to know more then comment below. A simple but pretty arch to welcome Kayleigh and Alex’s guests into the tithe barn at Ufton Court with dusky pink and ivory roses to tie in with the bridal party flowers all on a lovely foliage base. We always add fairylights too so that it still makes a statement in the evening. Our arch can also be used inside as a backdrop to your ceremony then moved to become a backdrop for your top table. We create the arch from scratch for each wedding depending on the look our couple want to create and have lots of different options to suit different budgets rather than a one size fits all approach. From all faux to a mixture of real and faux flowers and greenery plus any colour flowers you like, it really is a fabulous showpiece to hire for your wedding and something which gives you a lot of bang for your buck.
