So this isn’t the type of stuff I usual do at the boutique. But this dress has always caught my eye and I think she gets over looked on the hanger so thought I’d pop it on to show you how different dresses can look with someone in it.

A little plea from me ❤️

I really don’t like writing posts like this, but after quite a few last-minute cancellations recently, I just wanted to ask for a little consideration. 🥰

As most of you know, Rachychic isn’t a high-street shop with set opening hours. I’m appointment only, which means I open the boutique especially for you and plan my days, weeks and weekends around the appointments in my diary.

When an appointment is cancelled at the very last minute — or someone simply doesn’t turn up — it’s not just an empty slot. I’ve planned my day around being at the boutique especially for that appointment, and often it’s too late to offer the space to somebody else.

I completely understand that life happens. People get poorly, plans change, kids throw curveballs and sometimes the universe just has other ideas! 😂❤️

And if something does crop up, please don’t feel you have to cancel altogether — I’m always more than happy to reschedule your appointment for another day. In fact, I’d much rather move your appointment and still get to welcome you into the boutique than have you miss out completely. 🥰

I really don’t want to start charging booking fees or deposits. I love being able to offer free, relaxed 1-to-1 appointments without adding another cost or pressure to your dress-shopping experience.

All I ask is that if you know you can’t make your appointment, please let me know as soon as you possibly can. Whether we cancel or simply find you a better day, a little extra notice makes such a huge difference to me.

This little boutique is my livelihood, and behind every booking confirmation is little old me, planning my day and setting that time aside especially for you. ❤️

So this really is just a little plea for some kindness and consideration — and please remember, if your plans change, rescheduling is absolutely fine! I’d still love to see you. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who is always so considerate of my time. It genuinely means more than you know.

So, I know this isn’t dress related again but I’m so super proud I just have to tell you. My Meg became a REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSE 🎉🎉. She passed her final exam every single tasked completely brilliantly according to the examiner’s. Even though it’s not dress related I want to say to all the year 11’s who have just left school and the new year 11’s, my Megan didn’t have a clue what to do when she left school, her exam results were good but she had no career dreams. She was 20 when she applied for a veterinary care assistant. 2 years later she now has a career that could take her anywhere around the world. Never think you’re not good enough! Never think it’s not possible. If you want it, give it a go ###

Well… it’s been far too many weeks since I last posted anything really dress related💕

Between operations and the ongoing issues that have come with them, I’ve had to take a bit of a step back. And if I’m being completely open, my mental health decided to take a little wander into the abyss too. 🙈

But the last couple of weeks have been spent enjoying some much-needed time with my husband, and it’s been absolutely lovely. ❤️ Now I really need to get off my backside, dust myself off and get my focus back onto something I love very much… Rachychic! 👗✨

I had the pleasure of Caroline visiting me today and we had such a fun time. I didn’t have her dream dress but on my days we had a laugh. We even had a ‘train’ off 🤣🤣. My boutique is really like no other. Caroline, thank you so much for visiting Rachychic today. My mission to help you is still on 🤣 💕💕
