Earlier this month we held a fantastic Easter event for our supported families at The Bluebells. We hosted 145 people from 37 families in the beautiful Bluebells gardens and the sun was shining throughout!
With an Alice in Wonderland theme, families enjoyed live entertainment, a bouncy castle, face painting, crafts and more. It was a lovely opportunity for the families we support to spend time together in an accessible environment, making memories they can treasure for a lifetime.
We receive no government funding and rely fully on the generous donations of our supporters to put on events like this. A huge thank you to Bewley Homes, Tesco Superstore, Katie Hibburt, The Smith family from Basingstoke, Asda, Village Gym and Marshall Mini Basingstoke for the generous Easter egg donations, Bounce Back Bouncy Castles for providing the bouncy castle, John Adams and Daniel Weaving for the tractor and Aldermaston Coach Lines for providing a shuttle bus so families could park off site. We also had so many wonderful donations from our Amazon wishlist and many others donations to ensure the event could go ahead. Thank you also to all the volunteers who donated their time to help set up, run and clear up after the event. Thank you so much!
We run events throughout the year for the families we support. You can find out more about our work and ways that you can get involved over on our website: https://sebastiansactiontrust.org/
